Wasn’t a too bad of day really. Got to get use to the upper back shelf being gone. Just going to take some time getting use to it. No shoulder pain, and that is what we were going after. The band resisted squats are going to push my deadlift along nicely I can tell, since my pull is all about speed at the beginning. Was able to do 1 push up from the knees last night. Never thought I would be so happy about a pussy push up, but hey, it’s progress. lol

Bleeding from head to shin. Can’t ask for anything better. Shoulder is there. lol. Sleep is lacking big time. I’ve had about 16 hours total in the last 10 days. Showed in the speed off the floor, but trying to find a recliner to sleep in. Hopefully this won’t be an issue for much longer. Ripped open my left hand, so may have to use straps for a couple of weeks. We’ll see how it goes.

Not a bad day. Bar slipped down my back on the first set. Had to drop it and run forward. 100 lb of band tension really makes that bar move quick. lol Shoulder is still messed up. Everytime I think it’s getting better, I move my arm wrong just a little, and a sharp pain reminds me I’m a fucking idiot. Oh well.

The hell with smoke show, 545 was a fucking joke show. Very pleased with it. During speed work, 2nd to last set ripped open my left hand again. Grabbed straps for the last set. Then I ripped open my right hand on that set. lol. Want to know a way to make about 6 people puke? Lick the blood off your hands, and say “Mmmmm, salty.” I died laughing. Took Athletic Tape and gauze, and wrapped the shit out of my hands to finish the workout. Other then that, I started Carb Back-Loading. Day 5 of prep phase (carbs under 20 grams). Diabetes runs in the family, and I could tell it was starting to kick in for me (uncontrollable shakes, and just overall felt like I was dying.) Took glucose levels for 7 days, and my assumption was right. Was ranging from 250-350 what the fuck ever units per what ever amount of blood (eat a dick. I got done working out, and can’t think.) Energy levels are starting to feel good again, and shakes are stopping. Sucks I did this during meet prep, but if I keep feeling like this, and able to put in the work still, who cares. I won’t die in my sleep now, well, hopefully. Shooting to sit around 300-310, and see how that goes. Definitely going to be some trial and error, but that’s what makes me happy.

Pinkies on rings is the way to go to keep the shoulder healthy it looks like. Each week will add more reps until I get to 10x3, then up the weight to 155, and keep going. Going to be slow, but will be worth it in the end. Might add some more arm work in too. My arms look like twigs compared to my torso and legs. Did some barbell smashing on the shoulder/pecs/biceps to get the whole anterior girdle broken up. Need to get that fixed if I want to bench in the future… Broke up alot of shit too. That’s going to be a daily thing when I’m at the gym. Shoulder felt alot better.

Felt pretty damn good. Back-loaded last night with BBQ pork sammich, 3 servings of Honey Nut Cheerios, and 2 cups of Huckleberry ice cream. Felt “odd” this morning, but in a good way. After the workout, I felt tired, but not drained. I wanted to do more, not die in a coma. Things are looking up. If I feel like this on Wednesday, it will be alot of fun.

So, thinking I’m going to go to a 3 board. Shoulder is sore as hell. lol The bands were set up for they were pretty much deloaded at the top to really work the triceps. Otherwise, got some good blood flow going.

Humidity was stupid fucking high… Chalk was damp, and couldn’t grip 450. Tried straps, but the double overhand wouldn’t allow me to really sit into the pull. This in turn caused a very painful shooting pain the shoulder. Did a few sets with 495, and called it there. On a side note, think I over did the back-load last night. Going to knock it down to what I did for squats, and see how that goes. Maybe slamming 500g of carbs in a hour is not a good idea…
