Can’t complain too bad with 3 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours. Head was fucking pounding. Felt like it was in a vice. Had to dig deep on the last couple of sets. This over night transition is the worst one yet. May your “God” help you all if my performance with the iron starts dropping.

Last 2 sets were grinders… Lower back was fried. Very happy I didn’t let 510 win the battle this time. Few weeks back, I completely failed with mulitple singles. This time I came back with a vengeance, and anal raped it with no lube. Going to be sore as fuck tomorrow. lol

Possibly. I took a break for awhile from the section, as some of the BS that was being posted pissed me off. You could say I’m a strongly opinionated man, who believes in the basics of blood, sweat, and pain.

So, left hamstring is bruised right above the knee and tender. Great… Ice throughout the night at work. It doesn’t hurt though. Guess we’ll see where this goes. Josh had me stay at 480 again to really focus on my confidence and hit depth. A lot better then last week. Had a way different mind set today. Kind of scared me, but I’m going to go with it.

Dang Koub, i hope it’s just a little banged up and nothing serious.

Bench was pitiful. Felt something pop in my elbow half way through my sets of 320x3 paused. Quit there.

Everything hurt. Back, ankles, knees, hips, and my wonderful elbow/bicep. Wrapped my arm with my knee wrap, which helped some. Was pulling on the bicep muscles, especially the bicep tendon. I’ve come too far to give up on the meet. If it’s going to tear all the way off, let it.

Easy weight, but my body is still sore as hell, so it made it tougher then it should of been. Worked on some different widths and grips for bench. Suicide grip with competition width felt the best. Relieved the tension on the bicep pretty good. Though, not sure if I trust myself with 350 with that grip yet. Resting up good this week. Seeing Kylie twice this week. Too bad she isn’t single.

Felt pretty good. No bicep pain, so that’s a big plus. Had my back re-aligned yesterday, and my erectors are angry. To be expected though. Need to start seeing the chiro every two weeks, not two months…

Strength is great. Mental barrier is going to kill me. Suppose to double the weight for a few sets. First rep was great. 2nd rep was great, until I reversed the weight… Was thinking about flaring and driving with my chest, but form went out the window. Knees shot in, and drove with my hips first. About muscled it up, but gave up on it in fear of ripping something. Weight fell on the neck, again. If I move my neck tomorrow, I’d be surprised. Left side, front and back, is all sorts of messed up. Fuck it. All I can do is laugh, and go back for more.

Did some ab work. All my shoulder can really take right now.

Found out the night of my squat fun, I popped the clavicle out at the sternoclavicular joint. Popped it back in myself that night. Now, the anterior shoulder girdle is fucked (shoulder joint is very unstable. worried about the already torn labrum). No bench for a while at least. Going to try to pull tomorrow.

But why didn’t you just dump it instead of lowering it nicely, especially being that close to lockout? Didn’t look like it folded you or anything. Just curious because you tend to dump it the same way everytime.

What a great fucking day! My body hasn’t felt this good during a deadlift session for a while now. No shoulder issue while pulling at all. Pretty confident at this point with the swelling decreased, and muscles finally relaxing that the labrum tore more, or all the way. No money for an MRI though. Will find out more tomorrow at PT. Knew it was going to get bad, but was hoping it was until after the meet. Bench and squats are not happening right now. Can’t get under the bar for squats, and I couldn’t even press the bar. Fuck it. Here comes a 700 lb pull!

Maybe i was just talkin out of my ass, and obviously it’s too late now and we never think about the best way to fail. But it looks like you could just let it roll off at the top. Thats all i was sayin.

But nice job on the deads. Maybe a dead only meet is in the cards in the next one. Rest heal the shoulder, especially if its a tear to fight another day.
