BDE's BB Comp and Cycle Log

Alright, so here’s what went down. I placed 3rd for heavy-weight, and I’m pretty damn excited because the judges told me that I had the best overall physique and conditioning for my class, but my posing was lacking to show it off. Two vets had beaten me to 1st with better posing. I weighed in at 217.4 lbs for the weigh-in. The wife has the papers on how big I was for the competition, and she’s not home right now, so that’ll be postponed.

Several of the competitors there asked me what I was on, and I was able to honestly smile and say to them that I was drug free. They couldn’t believe it. I made many friends there that were all bodybuilders, so it was nice to have that experience of being able to connect and share with them.

And the news only gets better. I can’t give specifics, but my internship has accepted me fully as a future employee as soon as I finish grad school, for which they offered to pay! That means that I don’t have to join the National Guard as a means to help aid my financial situation. That means no leaving the wife for 6 months for basic training and technical school on top of any chances call of duty. I really just want to live a life raising my kids and never having to be away from my wonderful life I have with my family, and now I get to have that.

My next goal is to be able to compete in the super heavy-weight division next time. My next endeavor, however, is competing in the food competion, which has been decided to be hot dogs. Figures. Anyhow, my cycle starts the 25th (found out my schedule now), so be ready for that.
Congradulations! That’s fucking awesome dude!

And congrats on the internship!

So, did you meet your weight goal, or did you have a bodyfat goal?

Also, how’s that food eating contest looking now??? lol

Well, I thought I was going to ring in at 3.5% BF if I was lucky, but it turns out that with the water manipulation, I came in at about 2.9%. The water apparently had some to say in my BF % reading. After the show, I ate a whole large pizza in under 5 minutes, no joke. And that was seriously constricting myself so that I didn’t go overboard. I was hungry for another. And pizza makes me thirsty as fuck, so I drank a half-gallon water straight-up after the pizza ordeal. So I was bloated as fuck, but happy haha.

Well, I’m going to start ramping up the calories again back towards bulking for now so that my body gets ready for the cycle as well as the eating contest. Hopefully I’ll see this anabolic rebound everyone’s been talking about. I’d like to gain all my muscle back before my cycle starts. I do not plan on doing any specific training for the competition really. I may eat a few more hot dogs than usual, but other than that, I can just binge eat that fucking competition.

Fu*king- A dude, you rock!

Here’s a thought - why not stay natural? I mean you obviously have the genetics for the game, and even though it will take longer to reach your goals, you have time on your side. Obviously I have nothing against anabolics, but it would be sooo sweet to win your heavyweight class, ‘au naturel’.

Congrats on the job as well.

PS - any chance of you PMing me a photo of two? You know I won’t share them with another soul.
Haha, I am so ready to hit the needle. I think I would explode if I waited any longer. The thought of competing in the super heavyweight class gives me a huge test-induced, raging boner.

As for photos, I can’t post any recent ones. I’ll make a deal though. I have a camera upstairs with some old photos (3 years old or so). If I can find the photos, I’ll post those.

Whats the difference between your photos 3 years ago and a photo now, if it is an identity issue? That does seem odd to me - almost as if you were in better shape 3 years ago for some reason.

Anyways… i really am not interested in flogging a dead horse…

Great job with the competition - it IS a shame about the photos - simply due to the fact BB is purely a visually assessed sport, and results from anything are assessed by the eye… but hey-ho.

But the stats and results you write about are very impressive though. Good luck and good work…

This photo thing still baffles the shit out of me every time I read this thread.

Im curious as to you view on this, as this is my assumption.

Im sure you would figure that this forum is heavily read by people that are at least semi involved in one way or another to your future career aspirations. You have stated what day you competed, what you placed and you weight at the time of the competition.

Overall from their end I would feel its pretty easy to put a person to your contributions to this forum.

Congrats on the placing at your show. Very impressive to go into a tested show drug free and place that well. Sounds as though your goals will be eaisly met once you start supplementation. However I must agree with Altered as it would be very interesting to see how far you could go drug free. Good Work.

I didn’t think people would give me that big of a rap about photos, and now it’s making me feel bad. If I am ever able to make a career out of bodybuilding, I will post photos. I promise. But until then, I my career’s stability takes priority of showing off my success at a hobby. So again, I apologize.

Ok now, the measurements for the competition:

Legs: 29 1/2 inches
Arms: 19 1/4th inches
Forearms: 17 1/8th inches
Waist: 32 inches
Chest: 53 inches
Calves: 19 inches

They didn’t measure shoulders strangely, so I’ll have to get those measured.

Shattering the 20-inch arm mark is not far away because my arms are 1/8th of an inch shy when at my full muscle mass. It’s going to be exciting to see what I’m at by the end of my cycle. I’ll give updates on those measurements (shoulders included) as the cycle progresses.

why don t you just take a few snaps of different bodyparts if you re that paranoid?

its not like your colleagues are going to go oh look theres bestdaddyevers forearms lets call the dea…

I’m done. I’m not going to keep a log if every other post is “flogging the dead horse”. I’ll just post my measurements, weight, BF% and lifts at the end for you all to see, but that’s all.

I think most of you are just jealous. He’s 23 (I think) and bigger than most of you guys who are juiced to high heaven.

What’s the big deal anyways? He’s stated numerous times he doesn’t want to post pictures. Maybe he has tattoos or some other identifying marks. Your attempts to get pics are not just futile, but childish. Let it be.

Think what you like.

This is the internet dude, and you know what they say about the internet: “It’s easy to be a 6’4” ripped streetfighting god from behind a computer screen".

I’m not saying that BDE is full of crap, only that I have yet to see a single shred of evidence that confirms his amazing physique.

How is a request for proof ‘childish’? He has yet to give an actual genuine reason not to show a current picture via PM to a trusted member.

I’m sure I’m not the first person on here to smell a rat. I was completely willing to believe his claims - I’m jealous of no man. However, I am just starting to wonder, based upon his odd reaction.
x2

Okay, I totally see what you’re saying. Granted, it’s a normal reaction to have in a situation as this. Only because he’s been natural up to this point of course. Nobody would think twice if he had been cycling for 5 years.

But what is the point of continually asking for pics when it’s obvious he won’t grant the request? The only reason people keep asking for pics is because they doubt him.

It’s fine if you people don’t believe him but please have the spine to say it “to his face” (so to speak). Don’t try to work around it by acting all innocent under the guise of pic requests.

I’m not trying to slam anyone. I just hate it when people play beat around the Bushi.

I was wondering if you would catch that.

Trust is a rare commodity given the nature of this forum. If I PMed you asking where to find Caber you probably wouldn’t help me. And that’s a question that has nothing to do with us on a personal level. Try to get personal and the trust gland can shrink faster than a pair of nuts ever will.

LOL, did you mean to type it like this?

Anyway, I wasn’t initially asking for pics because I didn’t believe him. Call me naive but I totally believed him because he seems like a genuine guy.

However I because suspicious after he simply would not entertain the idea of providing recent pics. I just could not see a single reason for hiom not to at least PM me one heavily edited pic, obscuring important details. I mean he obviously either doesn’t trust me, or he has something to hide.
PM sent. I’ll reply to this at a later time.

What do you mean?

Now who’se ‘beating around the bush’, lol?

Anyway you obviuosly don’t know me very well. I go out of my way to help people where I can. Of course if you asked me where to find a research chem I would help you.

It’s just a sodding picture. What would I do with it? Sell it to some gay porn website? I don’t think so.
