Alright, so here’s what went down. I placed 3rd for heavy-weight, and I’m pretty damn excited because the judges told me that I had the best overall physique and conditioning for my class, but my posing was lacking to show it off. Two vets had beaten me to 1st with better posing. I weighed in at 217.4 lbs for the weigh-in. The wife has the papers on how big I was for the competition, and she’s not home right now, so that’ll be postponed.
Several of the competitors there asked me what I was on, and I was able to honestly smile and say to them that I was drug free. They couldn’t believe it. I made many friends there that were all bodybuilders, so it was nice to have that experience of being able to connect and share with them.
And the news only gets better. I can’t give specifics, but my internship has accepted me fully as a future employee as soon as I finish grad school, for which they offered to pay! That means that I don’t have to join the National Guard as a means to help aid my financial situation. That means no leaving the wife for 6 months for basic training and technical school on top of any chances call of duty. I really just want to live a life raising my kids and never having to be away from my wonderful life I have with my family, and now I get to have that.
My next goal is to be able to compete in the super heavy-weight division next time. My next endeavor, however, is competing in the food competion, which has been decided to be hot dogs. Figures. Anyhow, my cycle starts the 25th (found out my schedule now), so be ready for that.[/quote]
Congradulations! That’s fucking awesome dude!
And congrats on the internship!
So, did you meet your weight goal, or did you have a bodyfat goal?
Also, how’s that food eating contest looking now??? lol
