I swear I’m not following you haha

I’ve been doing 300mg COQ10 at one time with breakfast (low carb, moderate fat). Have been doing this for 2 months now and energy is still high. It made a huge difference at first, like what BBB was talking about. I usually take a short nap midday, but not anymore. Sometimes I’ll take another 200mg before a work out with 1.5g ALCAR and I’ll have energy to spare. It’s feels like I can breath deeper, like my lungs don’t fatigue as fast. After this month I’m going to taper off of it. Stay off for a couple of months. If you need a awesome source, PM me.

lol i saw your name said exactly that, to myself

oh, BBB one more question

what exactly is your recommendation for the RYR/coq10 combo?

500mg RYR and 100 or 300 mg coq10?

thanks

question…

i want to get my dad to start with 300mg coq10 but he currently takes a lot of meds (most i have no idea what they are).

are there any meds he should NOT be taking w/ coq10 that could have an adverse effect or so?

This protocol sounds very interest.

I was wondering do you guys use regular Q10 or ubiquinol?

After the 3 months are over do you stop with the supplementation or do you reduce de dose?

On the RYR- actually RYR is what the drug companies made the first statin ( Mevacor) from. The active portion of the RYR (actually the monacolin K on the RYR) actually contains the drug Mevacor (lovastatin) and can be isolated easily. Hence, the addition of the RYR quite possibly may be muting the effects of the CoQ10 considerably, since it is in itself a statin.[/quote]

My father is on statins, wanted to get him to take CoQ10 - he spoke to his doctor - who said they were proven to do nothing and would make his health worse… Some people just can’t debate a point…

Well, my mothers doctor was rather surprised - maybe it was a placebo effect that fixed her blood pressure, but it has been fine for well over a year now (if not longer).

I am wondering this too. Or rather does anyone have experience with ubiquinol?

Holy Energy !!!

Man I’ve powered through some amount of work on my 1st day of the month holy mother !

Seem to be ALOT more alert like your after a Spike Energy Drink yeesh - 29 days to go !

@Modok, I know certain B-vitamins (B6 i think?) are helpful for diabetic neuropathy. I don’t the distinction between diabetic vs. statin-induced neuropathy, but looking at supps for DN could be fruitful.

@plateau: Niacin was used to treat high cholesterol before statins. It can raise HDL and lower VLDL, whereas statins do not. Down side is niacin makes the liver work harder and can affect blood sugar levels. Prolly some other things I don’t remember. Can also be uncomfortable to take due to the “flush” reaction. My dad takes niacin, about 500mg/day and his HDL is higher than mine (44 last time I checked).

Fantastic protocol! Gonna be doing this one myself and recommending it to my father who has a high blood pressure. When do you recommend taking this BBB? Morning with/without food?
Thanks in advance!
James.
