No, he lost credibility by posting under the name Headhunter. I used to respect HH, but now I feel a little bit sorry for him.
I often use wiki for a source of background information. I have written a page or two for them and was relieved to see they were later edited to make them more correct.

How? Just because anyone can edit Wikipedia doesn’t mean all the articles are just made up. Unless you see, “[Citation needed]” every presented fact is backed up by sources and reviewed by administrators.

Yep. Those idiots were just using that to troll me. I didn’t think anyone would troll in a serious thread.

He drew first blood, gents. I wouldn’t have said a word about his drug dealing past but he attacked me first. Serves him right.
You gents really need to think before posting. Who started shit first? Morons.

I understand and appreciate the philosophy of Wikipedia, but the truth is that in no academic circle is the site a credible source, regardless of the percentage of articles that are “accurate.”
Why?
One reason is that you cannot cite Wikipedia as a source for a Wikipedia entry. What does that tell you?
Even if you want to argue that 80% of articles on the site are generally accurate, how would we know which of the millions of entries fall within that 20% margin that are probably inaccurate?
You say that “every presented fact” but I can assure you that I have found errors in articles. I know it’s a laborious task to ensure all entries on there (and in every language) are accurate, but the margin for human error (to miss an inaccurate entry before a site visitor uses the entry as a source) is definitely there.
You can’t cite Wikipedia for an academic paper. Period. And there’s a reason for that.
I’m going to attempt to get this thread back on the tracks, I hate it when nice threads derail…
BBB and/or anybody else. What is your opinion on Idebenone? From what I have heard it is a derivative or similar compound to Coq10, except more neurologically based. It popped into my head when I saw BBB mention Coq10 and creative thoughts on pg2 of this thread.

I tried it and the results just don’t live up to the expectation IME. Q10 on the other hand really surprised me with its effectiveness. Mind you 300mg ED for 3 months is quite a high dose.

Going by your recommendation, I put my mom on that protocol (maybe slightly lower) for 3 months (along with some red yeast rice) and her blood pressure is now perfect and she says she feels a lot better overall. She just finished it not too long ago, and this is after her going to doctors and various homeopaths.
Can’t argue that you don’t know your stuff! Always appreciate your ideas.
Been over a week since I started taking 750mg ani, 10mg vinpo, 300-400 DMAE. I get shit done and my memory seems to have improved, but I’m also fighting off brain fog. The hell? Inadequate choline, or no love from ani? Currently taking in the morning with food; will add a redose in the early afternoon to see how that goes, but any ideas/input is highly appreciated.
Also, any opinions on oxiracetam or L-huperzine?
P.S. bacopa and vit. B tends to hit like a runaway truck made of pillows.
EDIT: Upping the DMAE to 600mg helped clear the brain quite a bit. Apparently skimping on that stuff was a bad call.
Okay, i am loving this info. I went out and got myself some oxiracetram, aniracetram, vinopocetine, L-huperzine, dmae, choline. hopefully it arrives soon, i already take a big b-complex, at least 10 grams of fish oil and lots of water. So it should be cool to see how it works out for me. I’ve long been fasinated with modafinil, someday i will pony up the cash to see if it works as advertised for it’s non medicinal uses that is.
BBB or anyone else that has alot of experience with noobtropics, i see that adderall was covered, but what would your thoughts be on ephedra or ephedrine? Would appreciate your time and ideas regarding ephedrine or a link where it may have been already discussed.
