In an interview with website Comic Book Resources, Grant Morrison explained that what’s going to happen to Batman is “so much better than death. People have killed characters in the past but to me, that kind of ends the story! I like to keep the story twisting and turning. So what I am doing is a fate worse than death. Things that no one would expect to happen to these guys at all.”[2]

But still he said “this is the end of Bruce Wayne as Batman.”

In the Teen Titans comic the future Titan’s and Tim Drake(Robin) is wearing a Bat outfit, this makes sense since Dake is one Robin that would mature into the bat, Grayson became Nightwing his own person and Todd died then became the Red Hood and Red Robin
