Bashing Lyle Thread

Thats your problem buddy, seeing everthing as black and white. I have no affliation or emotional attachments to a supplement company, I will purchase from whoever gives the best deal.

Whats wrong with wufwugy posting his opinion of T-Nation on another forum? A lot of rather intelligent posters/contributors has left or dislike this forum.

To the poster who correlated the UD 2.0 to Carb Cycling…

Ummm, they’re not even remotely similar. The UD has you working off extremely low calorie days then doing massive refeeds, playing with twice a day workouts etc.

On the surface they look similar, but I think the efficacy of the UD comes from the synergy found between the workouts and the nutrition plan. Basically, it’s not adaptable. It’s a one shot thing. If you want to do a different weight training program, the diet simply doesn’t work.

correct if you only want to half of it then it wont give ideal results…

if you dont want to do it as set out or one of the multiple variations on it that has been outlined by lyle or atleast run the ideas past lyle then you probably shouldnt be doing it…

still the good thing about UD2 is the exact same reason… It combines diet and exercise rather than just addressing one or the other for optimal results…

one mans poison is another mans medicine?

There are a LOT of us who feel this way, grey.

Just saw this posted by Lyle and wanted everyone else to see it too:

"It’s also why I don’t moderate posts or people, it’s nothing but a downhill slope from there as you become mad with power. …

Every T-Mag member is welcome to come over here and slag me until the cows come home. I won’t ban or moderate any of them."

So a diet that varies carbohydrates intakes up and down over a variety of days is not cycling? A diet that is a variation of a CYCLICAL ketogenic diet is not cycling? or are you so blind that you cannot see that?
Cycling carbs up and down is a carbohydrate cycling diet.

aah, thats your problem. Its because UD2 doesnt look identical to CTs carb cycling it means it cant be carb cycling. Maybe because CT’s diet doesnt look exactly like Twin Peaks origonal (of hte current carb cycling plans) that means that CT’s isnt carb cycling? or like some of hte earlier variations of carb cycling from the late 1980’s ?

Remember just becuase it isnt identical setup (to your ‘ideal’) does not mean that its not a carb cycling diet.

you mena like all good diet and exercise programs?

All diets and exercise setups should be aligned for maximal results.

wow, critize a diet that quite specifically says its for one reason? do you think your car is non-adaptable because it cannot fly?

Gee, you mean a diet that is set up for one specific thing is not adaptable, OMG thats bad.

But then if you know what you are doing you can modulate the UD2 basic setup for a lot of things, as people have done for a number of years with CKD style diets

It can be used with multiple different exercise setups, you just have to know why each day is set up as it was, and how to manipulate training to work with it. I have done a westside style program with a UD2 style diet successfully.

Yeah, but we don’t care about you, Lyle. I waste enough time on T-Nation already. Get over yourself, please. Take your troll unit and bother the folks over at M+F.com or something… you guys are irritating.

I just visited Lyle’s forum and went over the posts.

There is not one comment where lyle told anyone to troll this site.

In fact, the trolling were seemed to have been done by one single person.

If it wasn’t for Grey baiting trolls, the whole episode wouldnt have taken place.

Not true. The troll brigade started on TC’s “Steroids Forever” thread. Grey had nothing to do with them overrunning that thread.

Right. It was contac baiting the “trolls” in that thread.

And I have some swamp land in Florida I’d like to sell you.

If there were no trolls - then why did TC and the Mods delete all of their posts from that thread?

They proceeded to move over here and continue their little games. But - it seems as if they have found another site to troll, or they have been banned form here.

Regardless - there were indeed trolls on TC’s article thread.

[quote]rainjack wrote:

That’s a circular argument. How do we know they were trolls? Their posts were deleted. Why were their posts deleted? They were trolls.

They were all trolls. Grey was the head troll.
It wasn’t baiting, it was an orchestrated scenario.
Besides, it would be stupid for someone to direct a bunch of trolls to harass another site on a public thread. P.M. systems would be much better and less conspicuous.

My God - did you idiots have this much trouble with Santa Claus?

How about you read the fucking thread, and then tell me what in the fuck TC and the Mods meant when they said that they deleted posts, and pretty much banned the parties involved.

For fuck’s sake quit being such a dumbass.

Face it rainjack, anything obvious is going to be distrusted and not believed. So quit wasting time, go eat, go lift and let them continue to be fools.

And have a Happy New Year.

Grey,

Trolling instances are strange. Don’t be driven away from here by that bunch of ass clowns.

One of the problems with the whole trolling issues is that it is very hard for the average person to know what exactly is going on.

The fact that some people are being two-faced and can’t make up their minds whether or not they appreciate the community we have hear speaks poorly of them. They should sack up and act like men.

From what has been going on around here, I don’t see Grey having any problem, other than being fairly new to participating, which makes him an unknown.

On the face of it, nothing. However, I will say again, men don’t play little two-faced bitch games. There is a lot of good information available here, and a very helpful community of people, such that many people are able to learn and reach their goals.

That is pretty damned cool.

I’m also confused, why people can’t imagine that T-Nation would want to keep crap out of contributed articles is beyond me. There is an entire set of public forums here for expressing opinions on just about any topic. Why should they want our childish bullshit spread all over their own material?

Silly brats. This isn’t our personal playground…

vroom,

rest assured that very few people actually know what’s been going on.

Good logic, when someone gets banned they must be trolls. When some posts gets deleted, they must be trolls.

Therefore:

JB and Chardawg must be trolls because their thread was deleted
