I’ll drop the assistance work next week I’ll do some speed work, then sets of one @105-110% of my training max.
Afterwards, I’ll shoot for an easy non-grindy 1RM as my new training max.
The summer was a disjointed mess of training, but I did what I could. I’m looking forward to an uninterrupted 10 weeks to see what kind of progress I can make before Thanksgiving.
After a loong summer and intermittent training, I’m gonna roll with Thib’s 915. I’ve spent the last couple of weeks toying with weights to determine my training maxes. The conservative maxes I’ll use are:
Squat: 285
Incline Bench: 205
DL: 340
I’ll start the program next week, just goofing off in the gym between now and then. I’ve developed mild costochondritis and become a bit beaten up from frequently lifting near my maximum in the big 3. A few days to recuperate, then back at it peaking around Thanksgiving.
