I ordered American Sports Nutrition Protein online and I just received it in the mail… When I got the container it says Bargain Whey on the label instead of just american protein or whey… I just want to know what bargain whey means and if that has any bearing on how well the protein works.
I often wondered why Kraft, Land O Lakes, Country Fresh, and just don’t sell their whey protein to the public. Whey protein is so well known now that they should be able to just sell it.
The big food producer make the powder. It’s pretty affordable since whey is the by product of cheese production. They used to just let the whey go down the drain. Even today many cheese maker drain the whey and throw it away.
It’ be nice to go to the grocery store and get a whey protein from Land O Lakes for $3/pound.
The lowest I’ve seen is $5/pound on Ebay for a 50 pound bag. It’s made by Land O Lakes or Country Fresh.
