your parents aren’t willing to pay for a gym membership?
I’m sorry, but there is no such thing as gaining mass on a “Dumbell and Barbell only program” You simple can’t do it, as this kind of training will move too much focus from the muscle you actually want to work, to the stabalisors… Rendering your training COMPLETELY useless.

I guess sarcasm detection isn’t one of your greater feats?
I just thought it was ironic to ask for a “Barbell and dumbell only” routine, when that’s pretty much, as you said, the best way…
It’s like the OP implied that “barbell and dumbell only” wasn’t a normal way of training…

Been in a commercial gym lately?
OP, go to www.exrx.net and do some research. It gives you exercises categorized by body part.

Yes, I train in one. (Which I hate and won’t be doing for much longer)

this place is becoming useless with time, i am unwilling to post because it is always sarcasm or flames… it is a waste of time. and over it, be considered moron because did not get the sarcasm… lol… i am pretty sure i know little about bodybuilding, but, my advances are not dependent on the advice on these forums… there are good articles on this place, but without all the ‘chemistry’ involved most of them are useless… but forums… it is like deciding to get a sh!t shower and expect to smell good after that. the only advice is limited to: Eat big to get big… squat and deadlift… bullsh!t… i know a bunch of people who accomplish a lot without all this crap.

haha, was that sarcasm without a “smiley”?
But yeah you got what I meant, I solely use BB and DB.
I’d also include some cable moves, if I could. But you can still make great gains with just BB and DB. Find yourself a decent bench for cheap and bug the shit out of your parents until they get it for you. If that works, bug the shit out them for a power rack, too. Make sure to plug the safety aspect of it.
Other than that, like I said, go to ExRx.net : Exercise Directory and see what you can do. It doesn’t list every possibility, but it’s a good start

Touché
I guess.
1)Get a cheap bench and weights off of craigslist.
2)Set the uprights to the highest positions and front squat from there, or power clean the weight and then front squat it.
3)Start saving money for a power cage or membership in a gym that has one.
4)Stop making excuses.
