They suck.
They grate at your very core.
They are poor attempts to bring in new viewers or change a failing or stale plot line. Need ratings? Invent a new bit character to save the day. It’s like pouring gasoline into a head wound.
Scooby Fucking “Dumb”?? He’s always bothered me. And now I get to relive the experience through my kids. Scrappy Doo was bad enough (and the other ‘Doo’ family members weren’t really regulars, thankfully).

I would say ewoks could be pretty far up there as well as Jar Jar.
The Marvin and Wendy characters in the 80s superfriends were seriously lame too.
