Bad Circulation

Lately I’ve been waking up with my hands/foot asleep. Last night I woke up and my whole arm was totally dead. It kind of scared me actually—as I never have experienced that before. That can’t be good for it. A coworker told me that Flex Wheeler has to sleep with pillows between his arms and his side when in contest shape. I guess because his arms are so massive that it squeezes that big artery while lying in bed ?? My guns aren’t anything like Wheeler’s but I wonder if any of you have circulation problems. And does being muscular contribute to that or am I off here?

I am in my 20’s so I don’t have any circulation problems yet, but I do sometimes have terribly cold feet, which can also be a sign of poor circulation. You could try ginko biloba and xanthinol nicotinate-niacin attached to xathinol. It is used to treat insufficient blood flow to the brain, arteries, and the extremities.

I might be wrong, but I think the asleep feeling of a limb, is due to nerve issues rather than circulation. Usually poor circulation will makes your limbs cold.

NK, you’re right, numbness is definitely a sign of nerve problem, whether it’s only pressure related or something more serious.

When you wake up and your arm is asleep, consider yourself lucky, and give yourself “The Stranger”. If you don’t know what that is, you probably don’t want to.

I have that problem. You can either sleep on your back or sleep hugging a firm pillow. Works for me.

I have that same problem with my arms at night. Anyone know if this can cause long-term damage?

What I have found is that my arm falls asleep when I sleep on my back and the “funny bone” spot of my elbow rests on the bed. I get around the problem by having the whole arm rest on the bed, or folding my arms on my chest ala corpse in a casket, or sleeping on my side.

Just bumpin this up hopin for some more insight

LMFAO! I had to read that about 20 freakin’ times before I got the gist. That was almost way over my head. wtf
