Well, trying to get the hydrocortisone dosage back to my regular (doc says still too high) just sets me up for physiologic depression… No motivation, cold, weak… Basically just want to sit…

Rain weekend so riding would be a challenge, except sunday after noon… Just couldn’t motrivate to ride… thought ok, squats and deads at gym… just too much hassle…

so about 2 1/2 hours on the wood pile. Nothing like splitting wood to make you feel your age!

So.
strava’s training app shows me quite fatigued.

Still can’t get Hydro correct. Crashed again today. took 2 extra and still had to take Zofran. Going to go quite high on Hydro and see if that helps. Lift vs. ride will help reduce need for Hydro I’m also going to try and get lifting into strava as that does effect fatigue.

Bunch of stretches… Pretty stiff and sore all over. But seeing great progress so I’ll take it!

First time back at gym for squats and deads…

mostly systemic. HR rather high, could not catch breath. very humbling… I give myself the excuse that all my hormones are f’d… Iron stopped my anemia but thickened blood so much I have to crash my t levels and drop 3 pints… BP is way high. Surprisingly everything is quite functional… A bit of brain fog from time to time. Thanking my higher T levels were making up for low cortisol.

I wonder if it sucked so much because I crashed again last night… 2 1/2 times this week… one was borderline go to hospital but I stopped vomiting. I’m up 1 by the time I lifted. After seeing the bill for the last er visits. it’s going to be even harder to go even if I really must go… f! over reached on bicycle by not doing all that much… paying for it all week… I could use a good run of medical luck…

anyway… may have sucked but first time is done… Done is done. Second will be soon…

Pullovers! Torn Ab just tight, no pain!!! Been using one of them ab zapper and a tens unit to hit the abs w/o over stressing it…

A couple of spasms during a long ride. 32miles 1680ft of climb… It’s the climb that counts as an uber-clyde.

Don’t know what an Uber-Clyde is but a 32 mile ride looks good.

Not every day you can lose a whole category… I thought uber-clyde was over 220… But its really over 300. So I’m just a clyde.

For a heavy rider, think over 150… Hills are difficult. Funny how different sports/activities have different scaling curves. Anyway nearly every town around has hill the name, and those that don’t should…

I’m 6’ on a good day, But about 250-260lb of late. Was down to 230 during the worst of covid. But a whole bunch of stress hit so back to 250-256 is like a set point.

Really I want to get down to 220lb. I’ve given up my cider habit on the weekdays… So that’s not an insignificant amount of calories a week…

But with my hormones all coming in a bottle… Finding the right dose for each is temporary at best. Most of those that know me say go by subjective.

Doc’s seem to see me and think fat, sedentary old man who exaggerates activity… They met me after brain surgery when I was still out of it from the concussion from the car accident and basically slept for 4 months…

Even when I show them data it just doesn’t seem to get through… 2 serious (Addison’s crisis) medical emergencies may have broke through to my endo finally. But she just keeps repeating ā€œyou know, your almost 60.ā€ like 6 times in a appointment… It’s become a joke with my SO… as she turns 60 this december…
