Solid episode. The series is getting better, and for once we finally saw Tenzin go all actual airbender master on some equalists.
and his kids are fucking awesome.
General Iroh, Zukoh’s son?
He seems cool, but it remains to be seen.
For how great this episode was, I cant wait for the episode writers to somehow expect us to believe that equalists are as powerful as trained soldiers.
Same reason 5, 7 and 10 yr olds can beat up grown adults, it’s a kids show. Also, I think Iroh is more likely Zukoh’s grandson and his daughter is the acting firelord.

Iroh II yeh!!! Yhe season just gets better and better.
Yup, just sucks that is already coming to an end. Anyone know the reasoning behind only having a 10 episode season compared to the 20 they had for last air bender? Also anyone know how many season they’re going to have for legend of korra? I really want this series to last as long as last airbender did.

They planned Korra to have no fillers, the series has an option for more seasons so who knows what they will do.
Great episode. It’s hard to tell how old Iroh is from that snip. He doesn’t appear to be Tenzin’s age so I’m thinking more along the lines of a grandson. Also glad they used the same voice actor. And Leh Beyfong is the shiznit - I like the whole last scene where she knows she’s going to probably lose her bending/die and goes and does what is necessary anyways.
Also Mako is coming off like a bitch. I like Asumi better than Korra at this point. Korra just comes off as slightly impetuous and whinny (which I realize is needed for character development).
Having Aang appear at the end just made it more badass.
Question, how many other shows have a double suicide in the last few minutes?
I thought it was awful, so many plot holes. How did Amon take away peoples bending? Why didn’t Korra’s airbending get taken away? They turned Amon into a little bitch, at least give me an epic fight scence. So much lost potential with him. He lost to a newb airbender WTF? And he gets bested by Mako. The entire Makorra shit was annoying too. I think we got Shymalan’d with that bull shit we are brothers thing. The only way they can redeem the show for me is if Tarlock was just being a dick, killed his bro and is still alive plotting to take over the city again.

Yeah, I just wanted a decent fight scene between Amon and Korra, this season had so much untapped potential and all the teen romance was annoying. sigh…

This, my sole complaint, sums up all minor complaints: it felt way too rushed. It was “beginning of series - filler - plot point - filler - filler - filler - filler - plot point - filler - filler - filler - finale”

Agreed and they completely ruined any ethical and political themes this series had.

And they made Korra look like a weak ass woman with her liking Mako, he was a scumbag. If I was a woman I’d be pissed.
