Australians - Best Protein Powder?

Hey all Australians!

I’m 17 years old, and am interested in getting some protein powder, to enable me to increase my protein consumption, and particularly PWO.
To save me comparing thousands of different stores, prices and nutritional information; I was wondering if and fellow Aussies out there had any recommendations for the best protein they get and from where.

I live in Sydney. Another thing also sorry folks! I’m trying to also find the most cost efficient one. Cash isn’t something that I have a lot of at the moment! So far I’ve only seen you know, the ones in Woolies and Health Food stores, and I have a feeling that they’re not the best ones you can get, but rather trashy bad quality crap!

I’m able to buy online, but I don’t know the best sources. Is Grow! Whey the best option? I can get it for $50 each, from http://www.biotestaustralia.com/products/growwhey.html
Is that the best option, as I think postage is about $10?

So yeah, do any of you guy’s have any good quality protein powders, the price and where you get them from?

yeah the 3 Grow! Wheys for 50 looks like a good deal… or maybe try one see if you like it…

I’ve been using ON here in aus, a big bag with 148 serves or so cost me about $150. Works fine for me, though i’ve yet to recieve my order of Surge Recovery and Surge Workout Fuel so i cant compare just yet, but cost wise that is the cheapest i’ve found.

hopefully someone finds something cheaper eh?

Yeah its aussie, so about 100, aus? we still get our ass kicked :(.

Actually, we’re working on finding a way to make some kickass secret protein from kangaroo meat ;), we’ll see who’s laughing then.

That plus vegimite and you’re golden. Maybe throw in some wheatbix for PWO carbs

australia is terrible for buying supplements. always buy online. i bulk buy protein to get it cheap and other supplements like animal stak which retails for about $130 in supplement stores can be bought for as little as $75 with $5 delivery. i usually by concentrate over isolate cause its so much cheaper and not a whole lot worse

Aus isnt the best place to buy supplements, we get ripped off a lot by the wholesaler. just buy online, maybe even buy in bulk.

grab a few wombats out of the burrow and a few koalas off the telephone poles. then a little possum magic. haha we really get screwed on the supplements side of things although multivitamins and fish oil kind of stuff are really cheap. just buy online and buy bulk for protein

So far the cheapest bulk powder website I’ve found in Australia.

Fuck I pay the equivalent to $US150 for the ON 10lbs bag straight from the supplier, can’t wait to get my own stuff straight from the US
