Looking great DN. I never knew you were black. lol
Off-topic, but I literally only get hit on by black girls, and I seriously have no idea why. It’s not a bad thing, it’s just I don’t know why. I’m quite ‘white’ if that makes sense. lol. Very few look anything like you ![]()
just a mediocre powerlifter…
i recently cut down to the 242 class from the 275 class. here’s a couple gunzz shots.
1 year vid from jan 2011 to jan 2012
This is me after I bulked up and then lost some weight.
I’ll try to get a physique Vid; for some reason the editing software is making these MASSIVE files that take forever to upload.

Well I wasn’t going to participate because of complications from my back surgery I have been on the DL over a year now. So I am waaaay down on my training. I am taking zero supplements, no diet of any kind and cannot train like I want because it hurts. I have an edema in my back due to denervation in the lower lumbar musculature. Dr’s have said there’s nothing I can do, it just takes time about, oh 2 years. 1 year down, another to go.
So this is my state right now, I push it as far as I can, but that’s not very far unfortunately.
I was going to chicken out, but I figured what the hell. Might as well be honest about it.
srsly Pat?
I was convinced that you were a 55 YO fat guy that used to train, due to your avi and your participation in PWI.
much respect, mi amigo~
Ouch, I put out a fat 55 yr old vibe? eegad… I think need to drop the F-bomb more or something…
The reason you haven’t seen me on the training forums is because I really cannot train all that much, not like I used to that’s for sure. I posted mainly in the T-cell anyway because after 20 years you can only say so much about set-rep schemes, eat your protein and such… I am about 30% training wise because of that giant ‘twinkie’ in the above picture… I found a way that it would show up good in a picture.
That mother fucker has been hanging out like that dead beat uncle that won’t leave. I have the surgery last July, that pic is yesterday… I was supposed to be back in the saddle in 6 months. That was 7 months ago. The swelling is due to nerve damage in the muscle, it’s not like regular tissue swelling, it does not respond to anti-inflamatories or cortisone. The surgeon said, “I’ve never seen that before!”, great. I have seen all the doctors I can stand, basically I am on a 2+ year track for this fucker to heal. One year down, one to go, hopefully.
Anyhow, I train what I can when I can. This thing is profoundly uncomfortable at all times so training is a chore but I do what I can. I refuse to quit as long as I have breath. It’s my passion, it’s what I love, it’s what I am.
Anyway, that’s my sob story. The swelling should recede into a ditch, like it used to be, when the nerves heal…
Thanks for the props… I’ll keep pushing.
