August '19 Photo/Video Check-In

This is me, 6’5” 221 lbs. i just finished 3-months on trt. I’ve been working on diet for 6 months. The loose skin is from when i got fat in the 90’s. I dropped most of the fat in 2002. I need 11K to have the loose skin removed from my abs. Anyone wanting to help? Every little bit helps.

How tall are you?

I’m happy to see another tall guy. I’m between 6’4" and 6’5" and hanging around 212 lbs these days.

$11k for the surgery? Dang. Looking good even with the extra skin.

Finally checking in. Nothing spectacular over the past few months since the Transformation finale in June. Still doing Best Damn High Volume Workout for Natties (two more weeks to go!). Will switch to 5/3/1 Rest Pause Challenge for the Fall Committed Campaign to boost strength and keep as much of my hypertrophy “gains” as possible.

BW: 144.8
waist: 31 1/2"

Compares to:

Jan 1: BW 157.4 waist 34"
Jun 1: BW 146.2 waist 32"

I used to think that the body I wanted was under 150, then under 145, then under 142.5. Now I’m pretty convinced it’s at 140. I’d like to get there by the time I’m done with Best Damn HVT4N in two weeks. It’s a lot lower than I expected, but it will also set me up pretty well for my planned return to jiu-jitsu competition next year.

Sorry for the delayed response , my diet is very clean and I typically eat about 70 percent of my carbs within a few hours of my workout window time. Over all each day I ear about 2 pds of meat , eggs, feta cheese, avacodoes, oats, sweet pototaes, almond butter, broccoli , black beans , and sometimes white rice. I try to make sure I hit my macros for a caloric surplus each day and get enough protein to grow, while adjusting fats and carbs based on how I feel. I try to have more variety in my diet when I eat out, but that’s my stable diet typically.

Isn’t it time for a September check-in?

Go look at my August check in, that’s my September check in

The topics happen in Feb and Aug. Not much should be changing in the span of a month.

Eh. I dunno. I think they’re every 6 mos.,but nobody will stop you if you want to.

I’m down about 5 lbs. Not sure if it’s a good (fat) loss or if it’s muscle volume. Likely a bit of both.

Missed this thread when it happened, but I like to participate in these check-in threads, so better late than never. Life has gotten busier and pretty much all I’ve been able to do here is keep my log updated, so here’s a nice pull at 555 to wrap tonight’s workout:
