Good lifts dude, but one question, is that a goat calling in the background??
I’m still working my way back. That is a long way from where I’ve been.

And no. There are a bunch of sheep around but that is Nick our Eclectus (parrot), upstairs. He does that when I’m making noise lifting weights in the basement. That’s actually his quiet call.

This isn’t a picture or a video but today I hit my rather unconventional goal of 20 reps reverse barbell lunge my bodyweight (210lbs), which I’m very happy about. Bit of a weird one haha.
That is an odd goal but impressive man. Are reverse lunges generally harder or easier than reg bb lunges? I did them a few times but it was long ago.

Growing this beard is really the only thing of note that I’ve accomplished this summer.

Thanks! I’m not actually sure if they are harder or easier, I think they are probably quite similar. The reason I chose them is because I get quite a bit of knee pain. I experimented with regular lunges and found that the force put through my knee in my lead leg from sharply decelerating with every rep made my knee pain worse and I didn’t have that problem when I did reverse lunges. Another option was to do split squats but I wanted to choose an exercise that I could load a bit heavier. Thanks again

Good lift, what was wrong with your back?

Thanks man. Looking at your avi looks like you have made some substantial progress over the last few years good work.
Thanks Just progressing a long slowly but fairly steadyish. Recomping this summer rather than cutting because well I like eating.

Lookin beefy Maiden3.16!

I’m down to 195 from 220 in December. It’s been much slower the last few weeks/month.

Hit a current bench PR on Tuesday of 265 (not an all time PR) although my butt came up a bit.

Also finally cleaned 205!
Good PR’s!

You still relying on intermittent fasting for your weight loss?
Ya, I think it work wonders for me and I’ve kept it pretty simple. Wake at about 7AM, eat eggs or Tuna at 10-10:30AM, stop eating at 8 PM. Otherwise I try and limit carbs to around/after my workout. It’s an easy strategy, which helps me out a lot. I think it’ll work until 190ish and then I’ll have to buckle down and get serious.

Strains, scoliosis, SI joint issues. I had to take a number of months off from squatting and pulling and it’s still feeling a bit stiff and inflamed.

Bench strength is still good though.

My God that is glorious.

You’re too humble. Most impressive progress so far.

Snapped a pic of my leg(in Avatar) yesterday cuz I trained it the day before that.

Checking in. Working on thickening the back.

Down from 215 to 205. Around 6’ ft tall.

Hit a 230 press which ties an all time PR tonight. Only I’m now 30+ pounds lighter and did it after I’d hit 195 for 7.

Bauber, do little children scatter, screaming, when you enter a room?

You’re huge, man! What was your starting point?

Looking good, Joab, well, what I can see of you, anyway.

Welcome to GAL. Don’t be scared to throw up more pics.

Could you PLEASE finally just fix the settings on your camera so things stop stretching sideways? THANK YOU!

He’s got to work on making it out of the wormhole he’s being sucked into, first.

Actually, the wormhole is being drawn into him.
