My first assumption was that she was murdered and they made it look like a suicide. After reading that article suicide seems more likely. You don’t go around talking about not killing yourself unless you are thinking about killing yourself.

The interviewer asked her that, in case she mysteriously disappeared or did kill herself. She didn’t bring up the subject.
As the DC Madam, one of her former employees killed herself recently. It was a legit question.
Seriously? Alex Jones? Really?
Give me a break. The woman was certainly going to be serving a lengthy prison sentence, as well as being absolutely destroyed by the shenanigan trial that was about to become her life. Suicide was probably looking REALLY sweet in contrast to spending the rest of her life in federal “pound me in the ass” prison.
And Alex Jones? You have got to be shitting me. I want to ask a question… Why would Alex Jones be asking her, several times, “are you going to kill yourself?” Why? It was really creepy, the way that he was asking her if she was going to kill herself. Come to think of it, this whole thing looks like a conspiracy orchestrated by Alex Jones himself.
Think of it, now Alex Jones has the only interview with this woman, where she says that she has no intention of killing herself. Could Alex Jones have killed this woman in an effort to bring attention to himself? Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm…
This whole D.C. Madam farce is exactly that. A FARCE. Don’t believe the hype. This is a simple case of “I don’t want die in federal pound me in the ass prison”.

She was offered plea deals but refused. She wanted all this out in the open.

DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey predicted she would be “suicided” on several occasions both recently and as far back as 17 years ago - comments that now appear ominous in light of the announcement that the former head of a Washington escort service allegedly killed herself today.
“If taken into custody, my physical safety and most probably my very life would be jeopardized,” she wrote in August 1991 following an attempt to bring her to trial, “Rape, beating, maiming, disfigurement and more than likely murder disguised in the form of just another jailhouse accident or suicide would await me,” said Palfrey in a handwritten letter to the judge accusing the San Diego police vice squad of having a vendetta against her.
During several recent appearances on The Alex Jones Show, Palfrey also said that she was at risk of being killed and that authorities would make it look like suicide.
Palfrey had threatened to release the names of well-known clients of her upscale call girl ring in the nation’s capitol, and had indicated that Dick Cheney may be one of them.
I think she may have heard some things from her ‘girls’, about who knows what, and she was killed as a warning to any of her former employees.
Good post, JLesk.
Nancy Grace is tearing into this one with a ferocity I have never seen before. Apparently the arguement is that Palfrey was out of names, and had nothing left to give up. Had she had anything left, she would have revealed it already. Her lawyers had nothing more than what she already gave them. If they, or anyone else, had proof of high powered clients, then why keep it hidden for so long? All this woman had was her testimony. No proof. No names. Nothing.
If she had more, then why didn’t she give it up? She was so vocal on the Alex Jones show, why didn’t she give up what else she knew? Why not get it all out there? Why wait so long? All she had left was testimony, which means dick in a court of law without the proof.
Back to the suicide. Here, anyone can pose a theory. The leading one so far is that “the gubbmint” had threatened to kill Palfrey’s family, so she wrote the suicide notes, and killed herself under duress. Murder by suicide, the perfect cover.
Palfrey had already served jail time, and had said that she would rather die than go back to jail. She was looking at 55 years, plus being totally wiped out financially. Not to mention being hung out to dry by the media. She was in her 50s, suicide was probably looking pretty good compared to dying in federal prison.
Finally, all the build up to this “they are going kill me” malarkey makes her look like a martyr. All this faux paranioa makes it look like she was murdered by “the gubbmint”. If you were a Palfrey, knowing that you are headed to prison for the rest of your life, adn having all this media attention clamoring for “the names”, what would you do? Claim that the black op government was out to get you, that your already planned suicide is actually a murder to keep you quiet.
It is nonsense. If the government wanted her out of the way, they would have done it a long time ago.
The fact that people like Alex Jones and Nancy Grace are exploiting this farce is proof enough, for me, that there really is nothing more to this story than what we already know.
