@Basement_Gainz try something similar and tell me how it goes for you. Pick a compound movement that you’re bad at, and do it multiple times a week.
How’d your forearms feel after this? I’d probably be unable to hold a pen for a week.
They feel horrible. Especially with the work after
Your log kinda reminds me Leeman’s old logs
Needs moar axle. But hey, you train with the volume daily, I can only afford to hit like once a week at best. SO gross!
@strongmanvinny2
The manager at the gym I train at has a rule about me bringing in equipment; if it looks like it was commercially made I can use it and leave it at the gym. I’ve been too cheap to buy an axle, but I could probably put something together that would look and work decently.
@stronkfak I’ll take that as a compliment. Except I’m less than half the weight of super-bulked Leeman.

You must have had triceps like Eric Spoto after all this.
@caesium32 Ummm, I wish.
LOL just brady things
I’ve always wanted to be able to walk on my hands.
Plus with the goal of getting down to 175 for my first strongman comp, I am trying to find ways to make my assistance work more calories demanding. Holding a handstand lights up my upper back, triceps, and delts all at once in a way I’ve never felt before.
Plus jujimufu is cool. I’d love to do something silly like pull 4 times bodyweight, do a backflip, then walk on my hands.
Haha! I want to make a video of hitting a home run in batting practice, deadlifting 405 then doing the splits. It’s on my list this summer.

Woke up feeling like death. Took 3 long naps yesterday, and got 8ish hours of sleep.
Have been dealing with a chest cough that seems to be getting worse instead of better. Been prone to pneumonia in the past, might need to go to a doc.
Until then, gonna try to cardio the phlegm out when I train at lunch today.

Tweaked something. Hard pinch at the top of my left glute. Body was twisting and favoring my left side during all lifts afterward. A little worrisome with the competition getting close.
At least you didn’t double overhand this right? That would be a bit of an overkill haha.
Lol, I wish. The no chalk is more of a note to me rather than a proclamation of a semblance of grip strength. I’m almost always toon lazy to bring in chalk. I have to be very stringent with clean up and my current gym.
