Athlete Lean, Athlete Strong: Friday and Saturday Overlap

The Program in the article tells me to do Deadlift and Power Clean on both Friday and Saturday. I don’t think that is a good idea. Did coach Thibaudeau make a mistake? Should I swap Monday and Friday so it has less overlap? Or what should I do?

No just do it as written.

Olympic lifters can clean, snatch and squat pretty much every day. I train a bobsleigh athlete who squats the day before snatches/clean and he increases his power snatch by 30kg in 10 weeks (105kg to 135kg)

Thank you so much! Maybe I just need to lighten the load for a bit because 80% of 1rm conventional deadlift for 4×6 would just fry my nevous system (I have long femurs) or should I just use sumo deadlift instead?
By the way, I think I’m a 1B or 2A

Yeah, I really don’t like percentages. I do include them to give people a broad idea.

Thank you, Coach! Love every single one of your programs that I have tried. Look Like A Bodybuilder, Perform Like An Athlete is the one that I love/fit me the most I got mad gains while getting leaner it was crazy.
