At Least 21 Killed at V. Tech

Ok I’ll say it, I want to know what nationality this M-f’er is? Where he is from? How long has he been in this country? Is he here legally?

Why the fudge hasn’t the FBI released this info yet? Probably because they are trying to wait until tempers calm, when everyone is mourning, and the flowers are on the graves to soften the blow!
Why does this matter that much to you? If whatever his nationality is happened to be someone you were already biased against, would this fuel more hatred towards that entire group of people?

I am losing faith in the goodness of mankind. Why would someone commit such an awful act? Maybe their should be a law that if you kill someone, you and both your parents will be executed. And if you don’t have parents, then your next two closest relatives will be executed. EXTREME-HELL YES!!! But if you are plotting to kill someone, then it may cause you to think twice about committing your own family to a death sentence.

I would interested if the person were not here legally, but blaming this on race in any way, even if he weren’t, is even less logical than blaming guns.

I haven’t had that faith for at least 25 years and include myself as one of those whose goodness I have no faith in. However what you propose is unjust, flies in the face of everything this country at least once stood for, not to mention being entirely unworkable.

I do understand your frustration though.

I didn’t know when someone is murdered on campus you just continue on like nothing happened.

I’m sorry, if someone is murdered on my campus I want to know immediately, not two fucking hours later.

These idiots in charge left the entire campus vulnerable to what happened. “We thought it was an isolated incident.” Who gives a flying fuck! SOMEONE WAS MURDERED ON CAMPUS! If I knew or heard of someone being killed on campus and no suspect was in custody I’M FUCKING GONE. It’s truly sad that the scumbag mother fuckers in charge, whoever the fuck it was, decided to keep a MURDER quite when no suspect was in custody. Bullshit to the “Email was the best way” line they gave the media. Hit the fucking fire alarms, get everyone outside and make the announcement that classes are canceled, ya know because someone was just MURDERED! If they “thought” the killer had “fled” then there would be no reason to fear sending the kids back to their dorms.

There was a complete breakdown in the protection and safety of the public and innocent people paid for it with their lives. Fucking assholes!!! I hope they, the idiots who tried to keep it hush hush, rot in fucking hell along with the cocksucker scumbag mother fucking killer.

I took a trip to VT last year for spring break on my way to UGA and it was an amazing place, with amazing people. God Bless everyone

It could have happened anywhere, who cares where its more likely to happen; it happened.

Isn’t the fact that guns are so poorly controlled the reason some wacko can walk in to a school and fire a weapon and kill so many poor people?
Meh.

The guy could have just as much damaage (or more) with a google search and some common household items that can be purchased at any local hardware store.
AdamC wrote:

All i know is, I wouldn’t know where to get a gun and I have absolutely no fear of anyone pulling a gun on me.
Perhaps.

But I bet you know where to get some steel plumbing pipes, fireworks, and a box of nails. That, plus a little internet research is all you need to build a pipe bomb. A simple molotov cocktail would also do the job quite nicely. Hell, the right amount of fertilizer and diesel fuel could have brought the entire building down.

A pschopathic nutjob doesn’t need a gun to commit mass murder.

It wasn’t a breakdown. It reads like someone trying to spin the event before the news got wind of it. That would be the ONLY reason to handle something like that this way. It backfired on them. I doubt they will admit that, however.

Again, if he was an illegal immigrant, would this be the fuel for more laws against them? If so, why would this be the major factor as if there are no individuals and everyone’s actions are a representation of their entire race?

I apoligize for my crudeness, but I am really frustrated with these types of ppl. Had he been taken alive, He would be sitting in jail right now with a roof over his head, having had dinner, and a bed to sleep in while the parents of the Va. Tech students were at home mourning their loss. He would sit in jail for months before trial. Would have probably gotten off on an insanity plea and would have lived in jail off of the system until his natural death. So am I serious? HELL YES, I AM SERIOUS!!! Hey, no doubt we live in the greatest country with the greatest oppurtunities, but I believe our legal system is flawed to the point that had this guy had lived-- a good lawyer would have saved him from execution b/c of an insanity plea. Something has to be done to our legal system to strongly discourage this type of behavior. I HAVE LOST MY FAITH!!

Breakdown or covering tracks, either way they fucked up in the most major way. They wont admit fault as they’ve already defend it when questioned by the media. Even if the murders end up not being connected you don’t have students stay in class when someone was murdered on campus. That’s just flat out fucking ridiculous. Someone was murdered, class is OVER go the fuck home. This isn’t like a kid committing suicide. This was a murder and the perp hadn’t been caught. Yeah, let’s let the kids stay in class.

Around 7:20 am as I was pulling into my schools parking lot I heard a report of a school shooting somewhere in Virgina. When I came home,I can confirm this by watching it on CNN. I watched the “Situation Room” with Host Wolf Blitzer. Around this time he was interviewing a Ballistics expert (I believe his background was with law enforcement or federal agency,Either SWAT or ATF) and asked him to analyze a video provided by a students cellphone. During the interview, the man said something along the lines of "The Campus police and police officers were hiding behind trees armed and checking the students screaming and with their hands in the air up for weapons…"He said something about…“This is not how you handle a situation like this. Police officers were suppose to go in and prevent the shooter from killing anymore students.” I could not have agreed more. Another thing,I remember the reports here this afternoon said there was an delay of 2 hours between the first 2 shootings and the next 30 or so. What/where were the cops? Hopefully we all get the answer though out the following day. May God bless the families of the victims and rest in paradise to those who died

This is no ones fault except the man who did the shooting.

Its not the schools fault for not canceling classes.
Its not because guns are easy to get.
Its not because of any part of american culture.

The man who did this was obviously insane. I am no expert but I dont think he was living a normal life, then just woke up one morning and decided he was gonna go kill 32 people.

Anyone who does this sort of thing has some type of severe mental and/or physical disorder.

Examples are everywhere. Look at famous serial killers. Berkowitz, Bundy, Dahmer, they were all insane. Even that guy who shot all those people from a clocktower(?) in Texas.

This is no way societys fault. Its just an insane person who went on a shooting spree.

As for those saying shit like this only happens in America, just open your eyes. You will see similar things all over the world, it just wont ever be as widley reported as it is when it happens here.

according to witnesses:

its a student, asian, under 6’ tall, hand gun, dressed weird, like a boy scout apparently…

I won’t go into a schpiel about how revenge won’t solve anything, but to go after and kill their relatives, who may have had absolutely nothing to do with it, would make the authorities as bad and as wrong as the shooter.

In my opinion, I think just getting the person off of the face of the Earth as quickly and inexpensively as possible is the best answer. A bullet to the head or a mask full of lethal gas works well enough for me.

No long, drawn out appeal after appeal, unless they’re not sure who really did it.

It?s a pretty rich country you would think it would be pretty chilled out and most people would have food and shelter and be happy.

Here in Australia we have strict gun laws and very few shootings, you can get a gun but it is hard and costly. If we have problems with people we just fight with our fists and then its over with and every body goes home.

is it modern pop culture that glorifys violence, gangsta rap music, violent movies about mentally ill killers, violent tv shows, these problems didnt seem to happen as oftern before all this violent media like before we had tv and movies like in the 1920s things where pretty chilled out and society’s morals seemed to be alot more respected…
Rich country?
Sure, most have food and shelter, but there is a lot of poverty in the U.S.

I wouldn’t call the 1920’s chilled out but I know what you meant. The American dream is now intertwined with materialism.

What does everyone think about all the media attention these shootings get?

We have a right to know about it, but is if over-glorified?

What about the loser kid who’s parents never paid attention to him, and who gets picked on all through his grade-school and high-school life?

He sees all of this attention that the gunman is getting, gets the idea from seeing it, and has a vendetta against everyone in his school (in his mind), and he wants that attention.

Had he not seen all of the attention Columbine was getting, could it have made a difference?

The person’s race is irrelevant. The fact that they were in this country illegally, if they were, is not.

How do you have more laws against people who’s very presence here is already illegal? I don’t care what color ya are… or where ya come from, but it is outrageous that I, as a natural born citizen, am bound on pain of prosecution to obey our laws and someone who shows up on an inner tube or sneaks over a border is not.

It is also unjust to those who do seek to come here by the rules.

Check the FBI statistics on violent crime committed by illegal aliens of whatever race. It’s bad enough when our own citizens want to kill or rape us. Are we further obligated to house the rest of the worlds butchers?

This has nothing to do with race… not to me.

Yes, this has an impact on a kid’s mind. It’s a way to redeem yourself and hurt everybody that has hurt you.
