Something like this happened in my former city. A uniformed cop actually got the crap beat out of him on the street by a guy he had been attempting to arrest. It happened at rush hour and car after car just drove by, with no one intervening. I was appalled when I heard about it. I jumped in once.
Saw a kid i knew getting pummeled on the ground, one guy knees on chest repeatedly smashing him in the face, that guys “boys” getting their licks in. Well i walked passed and saw a bunch of people watching, i was kind of shocked that everyone was just watching this. Well I started to break it up, not fighting didnt throw a single punch just pushed the guys around away and pulled the one guy off. Next thing you know they all turned on me. Took me to the ground, I took their friend down with me as cover i suppose lol, bam they shattered my ankle by trying to stomp me, the rest of my body was essentially covered by their friend. The only reason they stopped was, not because the watchers stepped in, was because I had their friend and they knew they had to stop.
Honestly id do it again. id probably be more aggressive but this wasnt gonna stop and i wouldnt want to go to bed knowing i let it happen.

x3, none of the attackers could actually fight either they were punching and kicking like little retards. That poor Asian kid would have had at least a fair chance against any of them one against one. He didn’t seem too badly hurt thankfully; adrenaline would have numbed the pain and there was likely bruising but they seemed more keen to humiliate him and prolong the attack whilst playing plastic gangsters than actually inflicting serious injury upon him, which could have been done in seconds in they had had the inclination and capability,even without the capability a crude ‘mob’ attack could have easily left him in hospital.
I like that they’ve names and shamed the attackers on that site. The Asian community is pretty tight in London (not sure where in the USA that is) so hopefully if they’re not incarcerated soon they should each be getting a visit.
