At this point you are either lying to avoid backing down or a plain idiot, if you cannot see how irresponsible the rhetoric coming from Palin, Beck, Limbaugh and there ilk is.

And… no. There is no voice on the left with anything like their exposure offering anything remotely similar. The Tea Party was cute, but it’s time for some folks to grow the fuck up.
Or Obama or the Daily Kos.

Your bullshit makes me sick, trying to twist this into a blame game.
You’re comparing the readership of Daily Kos with the audiences of Rush Limbaugh… or Palin or Beck? Nice try.

And, Obama has used nowhere near the incendiary language.

Your arguments are predictably limp.
Obama refers to republicans as “the enemy”. Very incendiary.

And I cannot help it that the left does not have a leader like Rush or Palin. Other than Obama of course who refers to his political opponents as the enemy. Harsh political rhetoric has always been around.

The blame game is disgusting.
You got to love his argument, beck fans are all nuts, so he is right. Damn the facts full speed ahead for that one.

I believe he was registered Independant. Jokers on both sides have ginned up fake registrations.

Ahh, well then I apologize for listing wrong information.

For a second I thought I was the only one who thought this.

And really, I don’t even think it matters if he we politically on the left or right. I don’t think this dumb kid even knew what side he fell on. He is just an angry kid(and it’s weird to me he’s so young and so angry).

Besides this everyone who starts labeling this kid as left or right is making a guilt by association fallacy. A criminal is a criminal.

Feed him to the wolves. Society has no place for these people.

You are correct. Infact all this left vs right shit that is stirring up over this is probably exactly what he wanted. This guy may be bat shit insane, but he is not stupid.

It is more of the idiocy that creates . If you say up is down enough some will believe it . This is not about right and wrong which I wanted to discuss . This is once again about evil Obama calling the Republicans the enemy . I will discuss the mental health care in America and That main stream politics have moved right .

A note to the so called right . I do not believe you have convinced any one that the Rhetoric of the right has not caused this problem. I am just personally tired of arguing a point that no one can prove

You are really going to try and play the good guy after it was you who started finger pointing?
How about you say that their is no evidence on either side that points to any political talk today that triggered this guy, because he was targeting her since 2007.

I do not think me being a good guy is an act:) I said it was the Rhetoric that Glen Beck , Rush limpdick , Sarah Palin and FAUX news spews that creates a climate that could create a violent act in an unstable mind.

putting some one in cross hairs is a statement , he did not shoot her in 2007

You brought it up. You have the burden to prove the shooter was motivated by TEA party rhetoric. You have no evidence he listened to it, let alone was motivated by it.

I guess its about your “feelings.”
pittbulll wrote:

He could have been inspired by the democrats railing she’s “dead to me” because she voted against Pelosi.

What evidence do you have the shooter saw anything? None, of course.
pittbulll wrote:

Democrats did that to republicans in 2004.

Glenn beck has been saying Non-violence all the time on his show. So where are you getting this he said go kill people message from?

Should I show you signs that Liberals made saying that Bush should be shot? The fact is that targets on politicians have been in place for a while.

No he did not shoot her in 2007, but he started planning it in 2007. See the WSJ article that I posted. Or is the WSJ just right wing propaganda?

Why don’t you condem the hard left who has called for riots and revolution? Couldn’t that have set off this guy?

Again, there are no facts on either side to link him to one side or the other, this guy was a nut job and was all over the place, as can be seen by the videos I posted.

So why not just admit that you where wrong to target the right wing and that you acted before the facts came in? In fact even pointing fingers now is too early because we still don’t have all the facts. But then again I highly doubt you have any desire to have a real talk about this, instead it is all aboard the fuck the tea party express for you. I hope I am wrong and you admit you made a mistake.

Pretty good summary here of how the dialogue has unfolded following the shooting. I was quick to discount any influence that palin’s rhetoric would have had on this kid, and I still think it was a nonfactor. However, it doesn’t help her when an aid agrees with an interviewer who suggested they were “surveyors symbols.” Don’t act like people are stupid.

edit: now that paul krugman has weighed in we can put this all to rest.

since that’s a bad krugman article i’ll also post a good one, however unrelated. might be thread worthy for those of us living in texas.

3. On the topic of domestic terrorists the entire liberals “I’m so afraid because the TEA Party is so partisan” meme is an old version of the “big lie told often enough.” There has been ZERO violence linked to the TEA Party. Most of the domestic terrorist attacks in the USA are by liberals or other creatures of the left: Weathermen, Bill Ayers, eco-terrorists, Black Panthers, etc. Even the OKC bombers were anti-war collectivists of the nationalist socialist variety, to the extent they can be described as recognizeably political.

What the liberals are afraid of are ideas, so they lie and distract with false accusations of terrorism and fear — their real agenda being the ability to create government mechanims to limit speach and critism and abuse dissenters, so they can hold on to power. Stalinism 101.
this is so true. The left has ample examples of violence which always seem to get swept under the rug.

You all can argue the politics of this shit, but most of the evidence points toward the hateful attitude of the right, Teabaggers, etc promoting violence against the left.

Even Joe Scarborough said the right needs stop with the hateful violent rhetoric.
Ha ha you should write fiction. If this were 1963 the you lefty wackos would be saying that Oswald was a republican.

Keep em coming you’re a riot.

It’s funny how the left changes its tune depending on what they want. When it comes to promoting basically R rated filth on TV with a large degree of violence thrown in they say it’s freedom of speech. You right wingers are overly sensitive. But now for some reason everyone on the right has to tone it down because there are crazy people who take things too far. But those same crazy people don’t take things too far that regularly passes as news and entertainment in the MSLM? Now either words and pictures mean something or they don’t which is it?

I don’t think I have ever agreed with you more ZEB. The left or “Liberal” mindset is that more speech is better, even if it’s inciteful or otherwise untasteful. They constantly push for more skin, violence, language etc… in movies, TV radio.

Conservatives have always sought to keep things the old way. Fighting for less skin, tamer language, less violence on TV, radio, movies ETC…

So now, Liberals are saying what exactly? We can’t talk about things that are important to us? 60% of the country is sick of thier shit and they want to label us fringe because some batshit crazy guy shoots a blue dog, a conservative judge and a 9 year old amongst others?

The bottom line is the left just got an ass beating and they need something to change momentum. They are not going to stop on this one, Guys like Pittbull who can’t think on is own are eating this up. It’s a “this is our chance” mindset, they are and will continue to hammer upon this until it either causes the conservative america to relent, or until it backfires.

Here is the problem. When 60% of the country is pissed off at 40%, the last thing the 40% should do is to come punch us in the face for something we did not do.

The libs are like the white knight in HS, he just walked around the corner and saw the jock and the nerd. The nerds books are all over the ground, and being judgemental pricks, the white knight runs in and slugs the jock in the face for knocking the nerds books over. The jock rubs his jaw and helps the nerd pick up his books. See some skater punks had run from behind the nerd and jock and knocked the books out of the nerds hands and took off down the hall and around a corner. The white knight being the judgemental asshole with a superiority complex seeks to fill his shame of common inadecuacy in his life by “writing wrongs” on behalf of those he percieves as lower. He thrusts this help weather the person wants it or not and weather the precieved “perpitrator” of the misdeed is deserving or not.

This is real life people, not fucking high school. Grow the fuck up and stop trying to pin this on conservatives. I disagree with many liberal viewpoints, but this little stunt your pulling is revolting.
