Will taking 0.5 mg of arimidex every other day during my sustanon 250 at 500mg per week for 10 weeks cycle be alright for preventing water retention and
gynecomastia ?
-Also can i keep taking arimidex for pct together with Hcg and if yes what dosage of arimidex should i take for pct
Ditch the AI until you actually need it. Nuked estrogen will leave you worse off then higher estrogen. Plus, a level of estrogen is handy to. Let your test/estrogen ratios naturally re balance themselves out as you progress through the cycle without resorting to AIs.

Is 0.5 mg of arimidex EOD enough to prevent gyno and water retention? Simple answer, no one knows. Everyone is different. You are obviously early in your AAS usage so just realize you are going to have to figure out certain things on your own because your body is different than the next guys. I will say it is very easy to over use arimidex or any AI. I would think that if this is the first or at least one of the first few cycles then you should have AI on hand but don’t just take it. Run the cycle and see if any issues pop up. Just so you know if something does pop up the AI will knock down that estrogen level real quick then with in a few days the issue should go away, if it even takes that long.
As stated HCG is not a PCT drug. Actually PCT is our way of trying to get our bodies to produce their own “HCG,” along with some other stuff. So taking it during PCT is counter productive. You can use it right up to the start of PCT and it does help lots of guys have a more efficient PCT and recovery but do not overlap it with PCT.
Arimidex is not a PCT drug. The reason I originally said you obviously did some research but just didn’t get the right info is because just about everyone has seen the PCt protocol calling for AIs but this is wrong. We need SERMs for PCT and that stands for Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator. The main two are Nolvadex and Clomid although clomid isn’t really a SERM but it’s secondary action does almost the same thing so we call it a SERM. I would recommend Nolvadex for anyone for any PCT just because some guys act like hormonal pregnant chic’s on clomid. Plus mg for mg Nolvadex is a stronger binder and thus a better guard against gyno.
One of the best preventative measures against water retention is drinking lots of water and sweating a lot. Plus a clean diet. I don’t know how old you are or how committed to this cycle you will be just know that drinking beer will bloat you regularly and on cycle I swear I see it being 3-4 times as bad. I never have but I saw friends in college do it.
