Are You Too Big?

The only people who seem to think they are “too big”…are the guys logging on with 23" quads talking about how big their legs are and how they can’t find clothes.
So it looks like nobody thinks they’re too big, so why are there always questions about getting too big?

Because nobody actually wants to work for shit anymore…

It’s an excuse to half ass training, like everything else they do in life.

At least that is what I think is the issue.
Agreed. NONE of the people talking about how big they don;t want to get…are at risk of being big at all. You never hear this shit from people who look like Dathibluline or Morepain on this site. It is always from little dudes who most people don’t even notice in a crowded room.

Lol i love the people that ask you how you workout and for some advice, and when you tell them they respond with something along the lines of Woah, i dont want to do all that! i dont wanna get TOO big.
Oh yea, WATCH OUT, you use my routine and youll wake up the next day 230lbs too!!

Damn my wallet sticks out too much in these skinny jeans, Can somebody give me a minimum wage job, I don’t want to make too much money.

why don’t you actually get the avatar that moves?

yes I am way to big, it hunts every day. No, but seriously I have never seen anyone who was to big (unless we are talking about to much fat)

The only drawback I’ve personally noticed (though I’m only 230 and not what most here would consider “big”) is that my knees fucking hurt alot. On the advice of some here, I spent some time finding a good (exmotherfuckingpensive) shoe which has helped alot. When I dropped down into the 2teens, the pain all but went away–as soon as I started getting closer to 230 again it was like a switch turned on the shit started up again. Makes me wonder if my knees just aren’t made to carry that much weight around all the time.

But did you need a specific exercise routine to lose the muscle you had at 230 so that you can be under 220?

I can understand where your coming from, during the summer I try to lose a little extra weight so my knees don’t get as sore when I’m playing bball 3 or 4 times a week. Only thing is I’m not concerned with losing muscle, I’m more concerned with losing fat.

Anybody on here looked in the mirror and thought to themselves, “I have too much muscle.” ?
No, the only time I think that is when I’m trying to get my jeans on.

Don’t misunderstand, I didn’t lose muscle to get back to 215. It was mostly fat. But in response to the question of being “too big”, I was just pointing out something I noticed about being at a higher bodyWEIGHT. I’m a leaner 230 now than I was then, and the pain has returned. I believe the extra weight (muscle or fat seems irrelevant) is simply more than knees are used to handling.

edit: MY knees

I have struck out 3 times this year because IT WOULDN"T GO IN!

My girlfriend thinks I’m too big. Makes me laugh

Too big in what sense? lol

Shouldn’t this go into the Bodybuilding forum?

No. At one point when I weighed 215, I thought I had too much fat, and lost it all the wrong way (before I found T-Nation) so now I’m trying to gain muscle.

I can’t imagine a guy looking in the mirror and thinking they’re too muscular.

Fuck yeah dude all the time , i just hit 145. Wish i was 130 still. I miss my xs t shirts.
