Seems to me that it is much easier to maintain a 165 lb build as compared to packing on another 40-50 lbs over a given period. I have known many 165 lb bodybuilders who (if they applied themselves) could easily put on more muscle.
I agree with the writers point of view here. How many of you so called “fitness guys” have what it takes to put on some hard earned muscle?
Do you really look like a bodybuilder in a t-shirt or just an average guy?
I missed out on the whole big conan thing. But I just read it. this dude IS big conan. That stuff was funny. irondoc, I was laughing so hard I ws crying with some of your posts.
PS – Who cares whether or not a lion could beat up a cheetah? or a bear could outrun a gazelle? the only ones who care enough to test the theory is Fox, and that show insulted the intelligence of even the average american. what does that have to do with being able to deadlift 235? I dont think a bear is taking post workout nutrition.
And the whole argument of big guys vs little guys. WHO THE FUCK IS WALKING AROUND GETTING INTO FIGHTS? unless it is in a controlled arena, and then you are training for your specific sport, and not simply trying to get hyooge, then you are more likely the dipshit high school flunkout reliving your glory days of banging the sophmore cheerleader and smoking in the parking lot during prealgebra.
