Are My Levels Low Enough for TRT?

Yeah I think I will be switching, so you had the headaches and flushing symptoms ?
Would you recommend taking a break for a couple days before I start IM Cuz I feel like shit right now lol. Can that do any long term damage or damage in general?

Sounds like your hpta is shutting down my first couple weeks really sucked except no headaches but I was in a fog so bad I couldnt problem solve simple things and had to have someone take over for me at work for a couple weeks. It will pass, taking a break will just extend it.

There are guys that don’t do well with SubQ. You may be one of them. Try the IM again and if you start to feel better you’ll have your answer.

I would just switch over to IM immediately, no need to begin hormone deprivation therapy. Your testosterones is likely lower in relation to estrogen, so you probably need testosterone and are dealing with mostly estrogen sides. When I was doing SQ it felt as if most of the shot was tipping towards estrogen and days later felt as if testosterone was low.

IM works for everyone and SQ doesn’t.

When I switched to im and back to Subq. I felt stuff too. In general Need to give a few weeks to stabilize.

Im I felt a “high” which is what you miss. Sub q more stable which I prefer. @tgk143

Ok that’s what I will do than. But if I’m going IM I cant do it everyday cuz my leg is left stiff and sore for a few days after. Guess I’ll do every other or 3.5 days.

Should i take a quarter tab .5mg of Anastrozole? Once a week for now or stay off?

I havent taken my injection yet today and I feel quite a bit better this morning. So its gotta be either subq or trt itself, or of course the estrogen thing.

No AI.

How long were you in Subq?

If you switch now you will never really know how you do on Subq. Then in the future you may end up trying Subq again.

Are you using 29 gauge syringes?

Right at the moment i have 25g 1 inch needles for IM and 25g 5/8" needles for SQ.

Could I Donna IM injection with my 25g 5/8" needles?

Also do you asperate?

Just a week. But whatever it is is making me feel like shit and feels like I could keel over if I continue, so I’d rather not take the chance.
Today i feel much better now that i didnt do an injection yet.

There’s your problem, I’m >30% body fat and hit muscle every time with 29 gauge insulin syringes.

No need to aspirate.

Are you checking your blood pressure? There are indications regarding E2 and blood pressure in some studies. It’s not direct, but you could be spiking post injection right now. If so, you will likely adjust pretty soon, but you might want to check that and maybe consider some arginine or NO booster in the meantime.

I have high blood pressure already and take medication for it, I only checked my blood pressure last night and seemed a bit high but not off the charts or anything. I feel quite a bit better today but have a strange feeling in my chest.

Also I’m going to ask this question because it’s making me think a bit, so when I drew up the test from the bottle with the syringe I took too much, so I re-inserted into the bottle and put the overature back into the bottle, that wouldnt have contaminated anything would it?
I dont think its related because that happened a couple days after I was experiencing bad symptoms anyways.

I will certainly keep a closer eye on my blood pressure though.

Ok I will try it out, what length is an insulin needle is it 1/2 long ?

Not likely an issue. But, that headache sounds like a nerve impingement, or blood pressure. If you spike up, take something. Cialis, viagra, something. Even an aspirin or something to relax the areteries and veins. Don’t stroke out.

Ever since I started taking blood pressure medication it drastically reduced my headaches, where as before I’d get “migraines” or so I thought 3 times a week. Honestly the stroking out thing is how I’ve been feeling the last 4 days yesterday being the worst. My eyes were red left side of my face and neck really red.

I have a MRI coming up in august on my brain and my neck. So we will see If there is anything to worry about I guess lol.

There are some studies showing some correlation between “high” E2 and stroke. I haven’t seen anything super convincing yet, but 4 hours is in line with a post injection bump in E2. Maybe you need to try smaller more frequent doses to kill that spike.

Thats what I have been doing this past week, I have been doing daily subq injections of around 15mg per injection if I’m doing it right. And Ibuprofen is my drug of choice as it’s the only one that is effective it seems.

Usually insulin syringes are 1/2, never seen any other size available. The 29 gauge syringes will take about 30 seconds to fill, the 27 gauges syringes are as quick as the 25 gauge syringes. If you consider yourself a sensitive guy, go with the 29 gauge syringes.
