NO! They work much better as anal suppositories, take a pound of each and call me in the morning.

Fruits such as apples, bannanas, tomatoes, etc are good.
Fruits like tgatl whining about the abundance of newbie bashing are bad.
just make sure you freeze the bananna before you shove it up there, otherwise things could get messy.
You’re right, however the sugar in them can impact fat release. That’s not saying don’t eat though.

This is also very good for the prostate. Reduces swelling and inflamation.

No they’re bad and so is this website. You should stay away from both.
Seriously though, they are fine and some form of fruit should be apart of your diet.
“The point of food regulations is to make people aware of what’s in the food they buy, and while fruit contains natural sugar, it’s also chock full of vitamins and nutrients.”
I like that quote from the above link…it’s soo true!! Anyways if your working out your body will burn whatever natural sugar is in the fruit your eating and it will benefit from the nutrients your giving it. JUst dont have your strawberries loaded with sugar and whip cream, btu I do love chocolate covered strawberries…my fav! ha!
Fruit sugar is digested differently than white refined table sugar.Fruit also has fiber.I eat plenty of fruit and vegetables ,no matter what diet I’m on(bulking and cutting). If fruit made people fat then America whould of been obese since the 1800’s.Too many calories make you gain weight(muscle and/or fat),not carbs, not fat,not protein.
do a search on phytochemicals

Do people on this website not understand a joke? The collective humour chip must largely be missing

Proposals by trans-Tasman regulator Food Standards Australia New Zealand could prevent certain fruits from being legally classified as healthy.
…the amount of sugar will be taken into account. This would mean apples, pears and most stonefruit will be disqualified from health claims because their natural sugar levels exceed 16g per serving.

What a crock of shit.

Yes, and wasn’t it brought out recently that the fiber content has a dramatic effect on the way carbs are absorbed when eaten together? I say eat all the fruit and vegetables you want, as long as you’re not in the process of cutting to be sub-10% bodyfat. Otherwise, eat away.

absolutley…
For someone who is new to nutrition you guys should cut down on the sarcasm. It seems that yes, fruits are good. However, for someone who just started to learn that certain foods are terrible for you that you have been eating for a long time (like corn fed beef which most of us didn’t even know about until we read TC’s article) you suddenly start to wonder what is healthy or unhealthy anymore. So just give an honest straightforward answer, quit confusing the guy, and if you have the time to come on here and be sarcastic then you aren’t hitting the gym hard enough.
3-5 grams of soluble fiber can reduce the GI index of foods by up to 50%. If you think about it,every carbohydrate from nature has some form of fiber. It is only the sugar filled junk foods that have no fiber, and refined white sugar.I never got high blood sugar from eating fruit and oatmeal. In fact, mine is a bit low, lol.
healthy/unhealthy? compared to what?
turkey twizzlers and walkers’ crispy bacon flavour crisps
These posts aren’t helping to understand wheather fruit is truly good or truly bad…
