Are 80kg DBs Enough for Long-term Program?

Im actually getting into HIT i cant stand multiple set training i feel like shit and fatuiged all week. Ive been dabbling with 1-2 sets per bodypart a week these last couple weeks and read Mentzers book and been watching Dorians contrnt regarding training.

Feel much better training like this snd its letting me work with heavy weight compared to ehat i was using. Just hit 280lbs for 9 reps on my wprking set of squats and ive not felt draibed like i was doing lighter multiple set training. Think im going to keep training like this jntil ive improved my geberal fitness.

Makes sense. It’s always a good idea to just do what works for as long as it works.

I use an Olympic dumbbell handle at circa 70 kg. It’s the weight limit. I can only realistically cheat row it with a hand strap. I have done a 90 kg too, but it’s all hip really.

If you can shoulder press them or bench them, that’s incredibly impressive.

Shrugs and carries, rows , cleans , high pulls, low pulls are all great as mentioned above.
