That’s right, got em backwards. Yeah, this fight is exactly how I thought it would be. Not nearly as exciting as the first Maidana fight. Mayweather is boring. That is his style. He succeeds in making his opponent fight his boring style.
If people want to see a “fight” instead of a boxing match, watch the undercard!! (Meaning a Russian or a Mexican). Now they fight.

I didn’t really like the fight, it seemed like the rounds went to Mayweather by default while Pacquiao had to actually earn them.

Actually, if you envision the great swath of the North American continent between the coasts as a massive version of the West Country of England (in terms of attitudes, politics, thought processes, and to some extent even accents), you may get a sense of what to expect.
I didn’t watch this fight, but I watched Floyds last fight and was bored. There is a reason MMA is getting more popular than boxing.
Basically for anyone interested Harris was arguing that intentions matter a great deal and argued against Chomsky’s position that the U.S bombing of the Pharmaceutical plant in Sudan was as morally equivalent, lead to far more deaths etc. Harris then tried to explain his point and Chomsky tries to reinforce his. Chomsky has the attitude of the most cunty, dead set in his ways leftist ideologue mould.
I agree with him about the wests crimes which often are just as bad as those of ISIS and Al Qaeda but to argue the moral intent was the same does not seem a realistic way to look at the situation at all. Chomsky argued that clinton knew the bombing would lead to tens of thousands of deaths due to lack of access to pharmaceuticals and he didn’t want to kill them but didn’t care that the action would kill thousands of black Sudanese and compared it to not caring if you step on ants when you walk down the street.
Overall a pretty interesting exchange that got nowhere because Chomsky refused to be civil or actually get past the opening hostilities. I think I like sam Harris over just about every new athiest, with the noteworthy exception of the late, great, darling Christopher Hitchens.
Noam Chomsky is actually a classic, textbook psychopath. I’m not saying that because I hate him and he’s a leftist. There are thousands of leftists I hate but I know for sure with this guy. It’s his narcissism and total amorality. I’ve actually personally corresponded with him via email over a considerable time and he’s so batshit tabs narcissistic that he cannot stop himself from having the last word.
So everyone who has ever had an argument with him via email / letter etc. it’s always Chomsky who sends the last email or letter. The guy must spend every fucking waking moment of his life writing and reading. It shows too in interviews as he has absolutely no knowledge of any aspect of modern culture outside his sick little Ivory tower. I hate to ever celebrate someone’s death but the world will be a better place when that deranged creep finally returns to the void and I for one will drink to it.
