Anyone here live in or near Toronto?

I’m moving there in two weeks. Have to get a place, a job, find a gym, etc. All the good stuff that comes with moving.

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions or tips on any of the listed things I need to get done.

Appreciated.

where in toronto are you moving to? it is kind of a big place - narrow it down a bit and you’ll be able to get more specific responses - in terms of accomodation, etc. expect to pay just about a grand (give or take a couple yards) for a decent one bedroom in the city.

as far as gyms - there’s one serious iron gym in the city (as far as i’m aware - and i looked around when i moved here) - its called mack’s and its in the west end: place is a trip - dirty, old (but extremely well maintained) equipment and the guy who runs/owns it as well as designed/built all the equipment (mack) is 82 and still benching over 300. worth a visit even if you don’t wind up joining.
