Anyone been badly beaten up here

I remember we had a crack head come into the BJJ gym I was at. He called out my purple belt buddy and they started to roll. The new guy was trying to poke my buddy in the eye and wouldn’t stop so he got literally thrown off the mat into a garbage can

Even with strikes, I’m pretty sure that guy would have gotten thrown into a garbage so there might be something to BJJ, takedowns at least, sport or not

What country are you in?

Which country? Somewhere where generally we rely on our natural abilities bro, we don’t shrivel. Last encounter on a level playing field where drugs were not even once it was a hundred point beating.

  1. That’s a lot. Not srs

This took a turn for the better didn’t it. How to quote please,me just tapping reply on my tablet has made it difficult for those following y/n?

Most definitely is,there’s use for law enforcement. Security. Evicting unwanted guests. Being able to control a guy and remove him from the scene without collateral damage is a big plus. Where it gets tricky in my humble opinion is where ur outnumbered, even the forum Sensei said" carry”. We here don’t have that option. Once again I have to reiterate that people don’t stand back and let 1v1 anymore

I’m lifetime natty and was much stronger than most steroid users when I started training grappling. I still got my ass whooped, even though I would give blues and purples more problems than most white belts.

This whole thread reminds me of a lot of bouncing encounters and conversations at the door about said encounters. People tend to have a movie inside their heads playing, where they (the main character) are somehow immune from being clinched, thrown, pinned, and choked, as well as simply shoved or knocked out cold. They have this idea about how things will go, and some quit in mere seconds once you get control of their hips, their neck, their torso, pin them against a wall, or anything else where you force them into a grappling match.

By the end of my bouncing run, handling them was only slightly more difficult than handling a child.

I laugh at how we re downgrading each other. I’ve also squatted 5 plates btw. Ur not stronger than me. Ur speaking out of the side of Ur mouth whereas I’m being more direct. To Ur credit you did directly say carry which I agree when faced with odds that are too tough and not worth the risk whereas someone like me who has beaten up multiple people at once would still have a crack and hence the losing streak in such cases ,bites off more than he can chew. You re smarter.

… more than 99% of the word.

Dude I’ve worked with younger guys who were gob smacked at the stories growing up. These guys had less than 5 stoushes through out their whole lives, some had none(and I praise that believe it or not)whereas at a similar age especially at high school I was up around the 20-25 mark. Does it make that generation any less dangerous. Absolutely not. For a number of reasons. They may never have thrown a fist in anger but the chances of being murdered are higher. There’s been a paradigm shift in society

Yes. What country do you reside in? You didn’t answer.

No I didnt

Are you going to?

I’m a real person sir, under my real name. I also am sort of known. There’s a couple of guys on here that know who I am and no doubt silent readers who do too Reason why am not answering you is because I don’t like being a/s /l-ed by drug users. Need verification sir? Are you the five- o buddy?

No. I was just curious considering you were talking about American men.

Go thru my posts,I’ve told people about myself. Stop derailing the thread . Noone cares about me. Except you. No wonder you got a beat down. Asking too many questions bro!

I asked one.

I “got a beat down” because I said hello to someone, in that case I described.

So long.

Hello to someone’s girl more like it

Nope.
