Anyone been badly beaten up here

They weren’t your friends.

My brother was a competitive kickboxer and I helped train him. One time we went to Thailand to fight this really bad ass fighter. The guy was terrifying…big, tall, had this long braid down his back. ANyway, my brother thought he was going to beat him senseless but he ended up getting paralyzed in the fight and I was furious. I sought out the best sensei to train me in the “old ways” and over a montage of months, trained like never before.
I challenged the bastard to a fight, so we wrapped our fists in resin coated with shattered beer bottle glass.
I got my ass kicked for several rounds, but then at the very last minute suddenly woke up and beat the crap out of him. After I was done with him, I knocked out his evil boss too.

It was epic!

Yeah.

But really what happened is you blew him. On tape.

That’s tough. Get well soon.

Funny how your mind immediately went to gay oral sex…guess it’s been stirring around in your head.

And great sense of humor, makes sense now why you’re getting beaten up

Very similar scenario with me back then. Thrown under a bus. But it did in a round about way despite getting pummelled, bought me a bit of credit. It also made me violent. Subsequent situations which of not proud of mind, were dealt with, hit first ask later. Like u did

True stories only

Yeah. I was a very small runty child in an extremely violent environment. I ended up completely numb to it and entirely miscalibrated. I learned early and often to hit fast and hard.

By the time I turned 18 I was facing 25 years in prison for a pretty heinous beating over a drug debt. I had to explain my absence to the principal at school that I was held for bond at the county jail.

I was assaulted on a neighborhood basketball court for no reason when I was 24 or so. Random pickup game with neighborhood high school kids. I took a pretty bad beating from a guy I thought I knew. I got two black eyes, probably a concussion, too. I gave him 24 hours to apologize. He didn’t, so I filed a police report. I found out later he had already done 9 years in Michigan State Prison and the prosecutor charged him with felony aggravated assault for what he did to me, so he got to go back.

At the time I had never lifted weights at all, trained martial arts, or worked bar security.

Growing up it’s the physically dominant that rule. Of course as u age and get older and wiser, you realise it’s the rich that rule but in the small microcosm of community and school usually boys that had hard arsed fathers had an advantage. I didn’t,I was kinda mid tier. Not enough to be scary, but unless you’re top tier, expect some pain.

Oh man I do have some stories. Similar. Small child, still short, not dominant, took a few beatings but gave a few

That’s a good movie right there

When I was a kid I got into a fight outside a bar like most do. The kid had his friends with him but me being naive I didn’t think his friends were going to rush in. As me and this kid were going toe to toe I kept backing up to keep distance, not realizing I was backing myself into a corner between a car and a wall, at that point his friends rushed me and I knew it was over. Took a beating until the bar security came over and broke it up. Wound up driving myself to the hospital with a broken rib and a dislocated shoulder.

Ran into the same kid a few months later while I was with a few buddies and he was alone, being a stupid kid I was still holding resentment. Shot the fair one, different outcome.

Ouch. I hate the multiple Vs 1 scenarios. I must come from a more genteel time where it was 1v1 and no kicking the head on the ground. I’ve had 3 two Vs 1 fights in adulthood, came out the better in one but that’s cos I was on freaking fire man,and 2 other situations where I was lucky to escape with my life lol. I guess when situations spiral out of control, there’s no telling which way

I’m nothing man, there’s dudes out there that you literally could make a great movie out of their lives

I’ve actually never been in a fight. Makes me worry how I’ll act when I get into a fight, because I don’t unleash my anger most of the time.

Absolutely no reason to get into a fight. Protecting your family, your home etc is one thing but you should always look to deescalate any potential situation you find yourself in, to many crazies in the world these days.
