Any Surfers

Any fools on here surf??? Last weekend here in Hawaii we had a badass east swell like none seen in atleast 15 years. Perfect offshore winds and a solid 6-8 foot swell. I know here on Oahu the country(North Shore) is always working in the winter but the east side doesnt get THIS good that often. Where you at and where you surf???

This is Makapuu 3/14/09 I found these pics on our local surf site but I went out in this for about 3hours that day and man, my dick is still gettin hard from the memories of this session.

You lucky bastard!!!

and now we got a out of season south swell hittin town so tomorrow is gonna be fun  you down Under you get anything from that quake in Tonga??

I’ve surfed, but I’m not great at it.
I do, however, ride longboard skateboards frequently.

Incidentally, one of the best films ever is “Riding Giants”. Gnarly!

You’ve made me jealous … fuck that looks sick.

I haven’t seen anything half as good as that in New England

Thats a good movie, and what type of board did you try??? if your ok on a skate longboard you might just have to try a different size board or even try standing up on a bodyboard.

Really?? Ive seen some mean pics of spots in New England. Where you at specifically??? When I do my EastCoast surf trip ya gotta show me some spots

sooooooo jealous

you cant exactly surf here in MA although the waves at Hampton beach get pretty intesne considering this is the Northeast n all.

id say we’ve had stuff bout the size of the waves in those pics but idk when i think of surfing i always think of stuff a lot bigger.

f*ck dood I almost got a hard on…

I surf, mostly Orange County beaches and occasionally some San Diego stuff…

but nothing like Hawaii…

Thanks for the pics dood

I been out on Balboa in spots like the wedge when I lived in Cali. You ever surf up in SLO?? they got some spots like Hazards and Moonstone that are some of the best waves in the world without the SoCal crowds(Ill probly have some cencal dorks wanna fight me for even mentioning those spots). I went to CenCal this past December and got some good waves from a fat north swell. If you ever make it out here I know a bunch of secret spots on Oahu that catch all the swells but minus the crowds.

Shit it aint just about size, its about the conditions man. Id take 3ft clean off shore aframe peaks over 12foot onshore mush anyday. Oh and out here we measure from the back and not the front of the wave. 3’ back= 5-8’ face so when its 8ft its like 15-20ft faces.

HAHA! dood I’m from CenCal…more inland tho. I know what your talking about. I surfed some cencal spots but the water is always colder and has a lot of seaweed and stuff in it…also a buddy and myself spotted what had to be a 10-12ft shark maybe 100yds off the peer at oceano one time.

So no thanks for some of the cencal stuff lol. We used to go ride dirtbikes and our sand rails and stuff at the oceano dunes…sometime bring some wave runners and hit up that area too…it’s a blast…

I body surf the Wedge at huntington but unfortunately I’m not good enough to surf those waves…the shorebreak there is gnarly and I’ve been pitched into shallow water and into the sand several times =S I mostly longboard anyhow and those waves aren’t too kind for that lol

If you know the right spots and times in socal you don’t have any crowds, but I know what you mean tho…

I really wish that I spent more time out in the water. I go quite a bit over the summer when my schedule calms down…but it is very hard to do both that and competitive bodybuilding :frowning:

I’m not giving it up tho. lol But pretty soon I’ll need custom tailored suits LOL

Best I’ve seen in Mass was down in cape cod at beachcomber … i’ve seen some decent stuff near rhode island and down in newport, but it’s mostly a bit sloppy when they get above 4ft … i’ve never surfed in “ideal” conditions around here
