Any Other PALEO Dieters Out There?

Around March of this year I officially made the switch to a Paleo diet, which is described here:

Between Feb. and Jul. I lost 26 lbs moving from 20% to 9% body fat. I was training to cut, and restricting calories, of course.

Today, I’m working to gain muscle again, and have gained back 10 lbs in my first 3 weeks of hypertrophy training. I’ve been sticking to Paleo…just increases my calories and obviously training for it. I was just sending a shot out to see if there are any other PALEO dieters on T-Nation who have had any success with cutting or gaining with their diet. Moreover, I’m open to any advice on tweaking my diet to gain muscle.

You are the only one. There can be only one Highlander. Kidding. I am a semi Paleo guy. I do my best to avoid dairy and grains. There are many who have seen great results like yourself. Some won’t agree that it’s superior to most diets, but it is the way to go imo. Keep us updated on your progress. Always nice to see paleo guys making progress.

I’m not convinced that it’s superior either. It’s still very new to me and I’m just a baby in my dietary research. At this point, all I know is that it worked for me so far, and I was looking for input from fellow members such as yourself, before I embark hardcore on a bulking cycle.

OP, Just PM’d you regarding your transformation.

Paleo is something I am gearing towards slowly at present for a long term change. I feel so much better and full of energy on such a diet.

I am sorta paleo… actually I’m not at all. I have nuts all the time, and I have medium/high-carb days where I eat lots of oats, Ezekiel bread and sweet potatoes.
