is that not so.

i know lots that drink, and als have no life.
eh, vive la difference.
Yes, I have an occasional drink.
There is nothing like coming home from work on a summer day, dangling your feet in the lake and uncapping a frosty beer.
Vroom, I thought it was a law you had to drink in Ontario. ![]()
I really wish I could drink moderately - I looove drugs and alcohol, but am well habituated to life without 'em. Thing are much better for me if I avoid that stuff. Now I have more money for protein and other substances that I wind up pissing away.

Maybe some of u should have a drink sometimes, it opens doors ya know?
Also, don’t be such tightasses! The people I know that don’t drink have no life & are the biggest tightasses around.
Wow. I really hope I missed the 'Net sarcasm in this comment. If not, the question that begs to be answered is: “How old are you, BLWannabe?”

In my opinion, the doors which only open to alcohol may stay closed.
Let me clarify: I do not have a problem with alcohol (neither without), I just can’t think of one good reason why I personally should consume alcohol. Suggestions?
I don’t drink except for on New Years, July 4th, and my schools Springfest. Ganja however, well, that’s a different story.
Thanks for all the replies
Its good to hear different opinions and different situations that you all have ![]()
Thanks again…

Yeah, I was just trying to stir things us a bit. And I didn’t mean any of that crap.
I drink just a little bit on weekends. And sometime I go months w/o drinking! I personally like the tast & the way it make me loosen up. I try though not to make it a big part of my life. Alcohol HAS runied many lifes!

i have had more than my fair share of alcohol. college student + social fraternity = wasted.
since i have been in the fraternity there has only been one person who did not drink. he left about two years ago, and has done a lot for the organization and for himself.
but i started the V.D.
i have been to a few parties and did not drink. i still had the best of time.
i perceive no difference so therefore i do not drink anymore.
nobody cares either. i bring my water bottle and get a question here and there but it has not hurt me and i am on top of my game when i am sober. for others this may not be the case.
i have not been to the bar or a club yet, but i see this as a life long choice. it is just not for me. i guess it never really was.
ill just stick to shuting up, lifting, and walking on the beaches with hot chicks sans beergut.

Honestly I find it difficult to enjoy myself around drunk people, especially at a party, while sober.

I’ve had the best times while at parties and being the only sober person.
I’m usually the DD, as I can have a great time at a party where I know at least a couple people weather I’m drinking or not. I have a few friends who think they need to be drunk to have a good time, so I usually volunteer to DD and stay sober.
It’s kind of ironic that I’m drunk now though.
What’s with bringing back the old thread?
You should be drinking and posting in the thread I started named “The Drinking Thread”.
I’ve never had a drinking problem, but after I drink I have very strong cravings for alcohol for two or three days. Because of that I only drink a few times a year.
I don’t have a drinking problem except when I can’t get a drink.
I don’t drink and still have lots of fun being a college student.
Itjust doesn’t appeal to me, and I value my health too much.

Just curious if there are people on here that don’t drink? It seems like everytime I go to a party or even a family gathering, everyone has beer in their hand (except the little kiddies). Is it just the “normal” thing to do? I’ve tasted it before and I’ve had about 2-3 wine coolers in my life, but thats it. Just doesn’t appeal to me really.
Please tell me I’m not the only one :)
here i am.
i don’t drink alcoolics…

Reason #72 why Gojira is cool: She uses words like homozygous. I have to say that’s the first time I’ve seen it outside of a text book ![]()
Reason #73, right there.
I am lucky to have a drink about once or twice a month. And that’s usually a fluke. Same way with cigars, I went on a buying spree and have way too many. And I havent had one in over 6 months.
Both of these I enjoy, but since everybody knows smoke kills and too much booze will make you fat like Elvis, it really goes against my goals of eating clean and building a better body.
I think I can buy a sixer of beer and it would last me an entire year.
Oh and considering it costs so much to buy the stuff. Maybe I’m a cheap-ass, but $6 for a tiny drink is a rip off to me. That 3 servings of Surge! Cmon!
I don’t drink, and here’s why:
1.After the consumption of even half a beer, the next day, I always feel like shit.
2.I can’t stand stupid ass drunk people.
So I don’t care to join their ranks.
Steve.
A couple beers here and there, nothing big.
Just remember alcohol lowers test levels, and depletes mineral levels in the body, specifically magnesium and zinc, the two most important ones.
I find that when Im eating clean and doing alot of exercising, especially on a day Ive worked out heavy, i get a real nice buzz from just one beer.
I used to get drunk almost every night during the school year, for about 3 years straight, even nights before games. Now I only drink about once a week, and its not as much fun anymore. I feel like in a few more months I probably won’t go out at all because its just not as enjoyable anymore.
