OK, I did 10 miles again yesterday and will just run on Tuesday for 45 minutes and Friday for 30 then that’s it.
I’ll write back next Sunday!

Well…3 hours exactly.
Slower than I expected.
Nards you did the distance, that’s all that matters in your first outing! You should be proud of yourself and now that you’re confident that you can finish the distance, you can start to work on getting your speed up. Good job!
MacGyver.
Why are you trying to run a half marathon at 255 lbs? Just for fun? Why not try something a little less impact intense, such as cycling? Cycle 100km or something. I just dont see why you would want to run a half marathon at 255lbs, unless your planning on losing 50lbs?

I think I most certainly need to get lighter.
It’s not like the run was a huge bag drive, but I don’t think I could have gone much faster…and the idea of doing 15 or 17 or 20 miles in training sounds simply impossible without me getting under 220 at least.
