So how exactly does Synthol work? If you do something ridiculous like in this pic, does it just stay in your body until you basically remove it?
From what I’ve read it fills-out space between the muscle and the fascia. It’s supposed to stretch the fascia while being absorbed by the body and making the muscle occupy it’s place. However, it isn’t completely absorbed by the body, the body doesn’t even seem to absorb it. It stays there causing all sorts of trouble and may cause infections.
I don’t think you can remove it either. Greg Valentino said in an interview that he had surgery after his bicep developed an infection, that means they cut into the stuff and he still looks weird.

…and some of these comments are over the top.
He’s a bodybuilder/weightlifter. Why all of the hate in this thread?
Why would someone think “synthol” after seeing him?
In fairness when I made the thread it was entitiled ‘Another synthol douche?’ somehow the question mark was lost when the thread came up. His traps, and Delts don’t look right to me. Thats my opinion, you have yours I may not agree with it but I respect that.

I will say that is why I backed off of training my traps so much because I know they would grow like that if I tried harder. That is the first time I’ve seen traps that actually do look “too big”…but jumping from that to “synthol” just makes some of you seem like you’ve never trained around anyone bigger than maybe 220lbs.
He has freaky trap genetics but none of the pics on his site look like “synthol”.
Maybe not to you, but they sure as shit do to me.
Initially I thought you were being sarcastic, but since you mentioned it 2 or 3 times, you must believe it.
I didn’t even bother to read all the way through this thread, but I will say two things:
This isn’t synthol use, just over-development of certain muscles from an aesthetic viewpoint.
Those of you who think this is synthol use and are making some of the uneducated comments that I skimmed have no clue what synthol is nor how it works. The fact that people keep bringing Gregg Valentino up shows this. His arms were the result of implants (he lies and changes facts to suit him, please learn to discern bullshit), and scar tissue from rampant site injections on top of arms that were already extremely large to begin with.

You’re right…and call me crazy but I do think this was addressed and it still isn’t SYNTHOL.
Freaky trap development, huge arms and more than likely localized steroid use are NOT the same as some Brazilian kid who has lifted for a year filling himself like he works at Exxon.
^^^^^ Yea. Unless he is flexing in a way that just flexes he’s delts and traps. Also, his forearms are tiny for someone who have traps and bi’s that big. Must have some awesome straps…

Never said they were. They guy definitely has some muscle. BUT, a lot of that just doesn’t look like muscle to me. it looks like inflated balloons. His delts just don’t look right. And no, you don’t look anything like what he looks like. Your traps and shoulders still look like regular muscle.
I mean, you guys really don’t think there is some amount of oil in that? Really?
But by the way, your assertion that it isn’t synthol is just as much speculation as claiming it is.

I’m no expert, but it just don’t look right.
Still not synthol. It looks freaky as shit and obviously isn’t normal, but that is overdoing site injections. No idea WTF he was trying to do, but I do agree he looks like an idiot
