Today i decided to to close grip bench because my elbows have been hurting

49 - wanted 50 so bad but just couldn’t grind it out!
wed. for our “annual chilli cook off” we usually do a bit of a marathon of ‘fire fighter ish’ fitness events.
in total, three hours of fitness.
station 1 was basically a circuit including - power cleans, ring dips, ab wheel, plank, ring leg raises, rope climb, monkey bars, kettle bell swings, medicine ball slams, box jumps, hand stand pushups, and pullups
station 2 was ‘bump’ (the game) basically a ‘rest’ station
station 3 was a medley of hose carries (run), hose pull (run), sandbag carry (run), wheel barrow run (?), summersaults (?), a weird medicine ball over under team thing, and a weird plank jump over each other team thing.
station 4 was truck pushes (up a mild hill) and hill sprints (up a steep hill)
needless to say this pretty much ruined me physically.
after words my crew won the ‘best chilli’ and ‘best bannock’ awards haha. our cook paraded around with the trophy like it was the Stanley cup. all in all a pretty fun (if exhausting) day.
friday I am still tired, and a bit hung over so instead of doing my full legs day, i decided to test my max deadlift again
