Say what you will about the difficulties that come with being a woman, that is obviously a different discussion. Men see this stuff all the time. Something related to this topic. During May and June there were peaceful revolutions in Spain. For some reason, “women comitees” were formed. They put banners that said “The revolution will be feminist or it won’t be” when all the people taking part had tried to stay away from all ideologies…because they were a mix of different ideologies and the idea is to have everything united under the same banner “Real democracy NOW”.
So, this feminist comitee told the media that some of the girls had been raped and sexually abused one night. This created a big havok and greatly diminished the credibility of the revolution. However, they were not going to the police station or anything, just told the press.
These women got a lot of pressure and made a public statement “The girls were not raped or abused, but we suffered from paternalistic behaviour and verbal discrimination and bla bla bla”.
You know what happened? They were whining about “their stuff” in a ideology-free movement and people, men and women, told them to shut up and stop with their feminazi trash.
So yeah, good job girls.

I really don’t think so. I think they add men getting beat up into sitcoms because society has been geared to believe that this is the current role for men in society.
Yes, women used to be seen always in aprons cooking in the kitchen…but the pendulum has swung completely in the other direction now and it isn’t just a fashion phase like skinny jeans.
