As long as hot women do not want to get laid by emasculated douches, there is no way that this is a losing battle.
What I meant is the view of men around the world, and how we’re second-class when it comes to custody battles and divorce suits.
And this results from thousands of years of men ruling the world and women being second class citizens subjected to far more unfair things than slanted custody rights. The amount of time women have been treated (in certain countries) as an equal sex can be counted in terms of decades, not even 100 years. It’s going to take at least a couple more decades, and probably also a coherent, unified “mens march” of sorts, before the pendulum comes off its over-swing and things stabilize.
Also recall all the times on this website men complain about how women aren’t “equal” (meaning 100% the same), but different (which I agree; men have their areas of ‘expertise,’ women have theirs, we’re not 1:1 clones of each other- strengths and weaknesses and whatnot). These same differences also cause public perception to be different about a single situation when done by a man vs. a woman. In order to make public perception of acts committed by both men and women equal, you would have to make both men and women 100% equal in the public eye, which won’t happen because it is contrary to nature.
For example, public perception would have to change to acknowledge that men and women have 100% the same sex drive, that men and women approach relationships 100% the same, etc.
Take this common situations:
- Student sleeps with teacher. If teacher is a MILF and student is a 16 year old guy, public perception is largely going to be, “Hot DAMN kid you scored!” Flip it is so that 40 y/o man sleeps with 16 y/o female, people will be coming at him with garden sheers and the assumption will be that he waxed lovely about loving her and showered her with gifts and made her feel pretty for the purpose of manipulating her into sex.
Is the above assumptions correct? Sometimes, not always. Those perceptions exist, however, due to the inherent differences between a man and a woman. Perception = men want sex and love originates from such, women want love and sex originates from such, thus if MILF porks dude, he’s getting what he wants and it’s done from love, if man porks dude, he’s getting what he wants by pretending to give her what she wants.
Point being, ya’ll are going to have to stop whining and step up and work at getting ‘equal rights,’ and you’re going to have to do it knowing that even if laws change, public perception will always be different when judging a man vs. woman in certain areas, because men and women are different.
Also, while I’ll step out and you boys can continue your women-bashing session (which is what this is, acknowledge it or not; it’s understandable, ya’ll are having sympathy ball pain or something), just remember that this very system that currently goes too far to accommodate women is the by-produce of the centuries of men who treated women like a slow-growing commodity. Humanity doesn’t correct itself without growing pains.
As for the story: a dude was stupid enough to marry a nutbag and let her near his nutbag, which she then chopped off. I feel for the guy, but common; I’m sure there were signs of her instability before this happened.
