I seem to recall you have ripped calluses in the past. Since it is recurring I recommend purchasing a Split Stick from Rhino Skin Solutions (assuming you are in the US then). I never really rip calluses but have had smilies, flappers, and splits (which sounds like what you are possibly describing actually) and that product heals those up far quicker than without. I’ve even used it on my shins after deadlifts to heal quicker.
