Yes, as much as I can believe. I never believe anything will work for sure.

I think I may have identified a major limiting factor here that could explain quite a bit.

I have to get bread, the place with the bread I like is 5 miles away. I forgot my metro card, don’t have rideshare app installed and dad is out on business.

The high temp is 102 but humidity is only 70 so should be fine

I was in incredible shape when I’d ride my bike to the grocery store, fill my backpack, and ride back home.

That was only about 3 miles each way though.

Turns out walking the 5 miles wasn’t bad for me. But phone died from heat, had to take taxi back

Yesterday’s work

5x(2xtabata battle rope+ 12pushups), done every 2 min
Tricep pushdowns: 4x12-33lbs, superset w/ 50 jumping jacks

  • some quick conditioning

Legs pretty sore for some reason

Week 4: Day 1

Squat: 1x3,2 (misgrooved), 1(makeup rep)-85kg, 1x3,2 (misgrooved)-87.5lbs, 1x1-90kg
good mornings: 3x6-60kg
abductor machine: 3x10-135lbs
selectorise leg press (replace leg extension): 3x10-90lbs\

  • squats felt okay- legs were sore but made it, not focused so misgrooved, rest of it was a slog

Week 4: Day 2

Paused Deadlift: 2x3, 1x1 (grip fail)-110kg, was suposed to be 4x5-235lbs (105kg), misloaded the bar. The gym is also unairconditioned + bar has no knurling = grip sketchy to the max even w/ chalk.
Conventional DL (makeup work): 3x4-110kg
paused squats: 3x4-75kg
cable row: 2x9, 1x6-40kg
adductor machine: 3x10-55lbs

  • deadlifts didn’t feel heavy but didn’t have energy + serious grip problems, conventional felt fine except for weird friction, rest of it was a slog

Week 4: Day 3

3x(10 reps DB incline bench-14kg dbs + 100 jumping jacks+ 10 reps incline db row-10kg Dbs+100 jumping jacks+45sec rest)
3x(12 reps straight arm pulldowns-21lbs+100 jumping jacks), done every 2 min
5x(45sec core exercise+15sec rest)
25min kickboxing and abs workout vide

  • upper body and cardio day- figured I’d do something lol, got HR up and felt pretty good

Week 4: Day 4 (yesterday)

Front squat: 1x5-65kg, 3x6-60kg
Lunges: 3x16(total)- 50kg
ā€œleg pressā€: 2x5w/5sec eccentric, 1x10- all 95lbs
btn press: 3x12-20kg

  • was tired but front squats felt pretty nice, rest of it went well too good workout overall

Week 4: Day 5

Deadlift: 2x3-120kg, 1x3-125lbs
Pendlay row: 3x5-60kg
abductor machine: 3x20-110lbs
press: 1x8-30kg, 2x3-35kg

  • was tired and found it hard to get foot positioning correct but deadlifts felt pretty smooth, still struggling a bit at lockout, rest of it was also slow

  • gym doing a promo so decided to try it out, was very hard but surprisingly fun

Front squat: 1x5-65kg, 3x5-60kg
Lunges: 3x16 (total)-50kg

Abductor machine: 1x20-105lbs, 1x15-120lbs, 1x10-135lbs

  • tired and legs sore so did front squats instead of my normal squats- not as bad as expected but moved really really slow

Week 5: day 2 (yesterday)

Deadlift: 1x4-110kg, 2x4-115kg
Good mornings: 3x5-60kg
Btn press: 1x12-20kg, 2x8-25kg
Adductor machine: 3x10-55lbs

PM (fuelled by cheese)

Paused squat: 3x4-75kg
Overhead tricep extension: 3x10-21lbs (the cable feels heavier here)

  • deadlifts felt fine but workout was a slog, was very hungry afterwards and had 12oz of cheese lol, did paused squat mini workout in the afternoon and that was nice
