Anna's Training Log Part 2 (Part 1)

I only have experience with Titan’s adjustable KB. I can’t say I wholeheartedly recommend it, but it does the job.

Family is going to Hawaii for a week in December. There will be lots of food consumed. Should I run a slight deficit for the next 7 weeks

Definitely not

Update: I have been so hungry all week…… it’s a deload

Doing 10x10 for deadlifts and the workouts you consider a ‘deload’ does make one hungry.

It is not too normal to have increased hunger during a standard deload (if everything else stays the same)

Made brunch with friends yesterday. One of them makes really good sourdough breads. I had a bagel with lots of lox, way too much fruit and a very thick slice of sourdough bread. My guts are fucking pissed and Im very very bloated even though I didn’t actually go that far off the rails yesterday calorie wise

Friend also got me an acorn squash and a butternut squash from a farmers market. Can’t wait to roast them!

Butternut squash pie sprinkled with a little cocoa powder is incredibly good.

Just sayin…

Hey, totally unrelated to training…

Have you worked with Azure Machine Learning?
I’ve got a project asking me to make a predictive model for breakfast cereal based off the 80 Cereals dataset from Kaggle, and frankly I have no clue what I’m doing.

Interface looks like this

Only asking because it sounds like you deal with data quite a bit, and this is right up that alley.

unfortunately no. sorry. This looks cool though!

I do, but nothing predictive. I clean data and run regressions.

I know python has built in NN libraries too. I have never worked with them though.

That’s basically the precursor to predictive models… can’t have a good prediction with a bad model! You likely know WAY more about this than I do, and it wouldn’t be much of a leap to Machine Learning from here.

The project is asking for me to use Microsoft Azure Machine Learning to scrub data, make models, and develop a predictive method for hypothetical new cereals based on the data provided. I would run this 100% with Python if I could, but the project is asking me to use other ‘modules’, which is messing me up pretty bad to be honest.

I was poking around on Azure for awhile and found some helpful tutorials on their website. Sorry I can’t be more help.
