You know all of this. These are the answers you have been given for quite some time.

And the added calories should come from something that’s readily digested and utilised in energy. That means, don’t add spinach. Add pasta, bread, rice, potatoes, and whatever fats you enjoy. Please.

So I’m thinking a 1900-2k average and see how things go

16-1800

Given your propensity to excuse falling short and over-exercise, I would say a 2100-2200 average would be a much safer bet for you.

I second this one.
@anna_5588, It would be beneficial to aim to gain 8-10lbs by Christmas (real gains, not waterweight). I bet the rest of the forum here would agree with me.
You will get stronger and healthier and will still be very lean.

I’d prefer to see you eat 2200. I’m betting you’ll subconsciously move more and you’ll need every bit of a buffer you can muster. Honestly, I still think 2200 will have you in a deficit on some days.

She walks off something a bit shy of 1000 calories a day, and that is before we get to her training. Plus, it is a dead certainty that she underestimates here calorie intake. So yeah, aim for at least 2200, and that should be a more or less permanent situation, not just a few weeks or months.

@anna_5588 Are you still walking as much as before per Cyrrex’s comment? If so - stop that immediately.

I eat literally zero bread currently (as of 2 days ago).
