Animal Nitro

Has anyone ever heard of or taken Animal Nitro.

My two questions are is it safe and does it work?
Thanks

Negative, misleading name. Nitro is a pack of Amino Acids, not NO2. Have heard of it, am interested, have not yet tried it.

It’s a very expensive way to get less than 5g of amino acids, plus some BCAA’s.

Additionally, we don’t know at what point tryptophan, an essential amino acid, becomes limiting to protein synthesis. By law, these products cannot contain tryptophan, but this problem is eliminated with Surge.

Here’s the product review that explains more: http://www.t-nation.com/readTopic.do?id=459463

Hope this helps!

Yes, it’s completely safe, as it’s just amino acids. They make something called Animal Nitro G, also, which is the same product with carbs added (powdered drink form, “G” for grape).

However, there are much less expensive ways to get your BCAAs. There are many cheaper amino liquids and such, but if you are not getting enough protein, good PWO nutrition, etc., you won’t see these make much of difference.

I am sure it is a quality product, though, as I take the Animal Pak and really like it.
