I need help with getting more angry music I listen to Angry Metal & rap (Underground only) 2pac’s “I don’t give a fu**” & “**ck what they say” is as mainstream as I go for rap… And Metal can be mainstream or underground But no Castrated metalcore vocals
(It’s sickening) Please not too many videos or my android will start to lagg
how did you get so be so hardcore?
You’re looking for that stuff that sounds like Cokie Monster singing?
I think the 1812 Overture beats all metal and makes it look like Justin Bieber fluffy pop music.

he said “Underground only”, not sure if you caught that
sometimes I think I’m the only person on the planet who actually likes to lift to cheerful music. Throw on some Marvin Gaye or something and I’ll dance about happy as hell and still hit PRs.
Why do people need rage just to lift weights? Why the need for rage to do anything?

Circus music 4 life!
I went off Barry White, Marvin Gaye, Al Greene after I started rubbing up again a hammer strength incline press.

Ever thought some people just enjoy that type of music in general? Not being a smartass, but people like what they like. It would be weird if a Beiber lover had to listen to Slipknot just to make it through a gym session though…

I was talking specifically about why rage music and lifting weights seem to be so linked in some people’s minds…

You’re not alone. I listened to reggae, funk, and Grateful Dead most of the summer in the gym. I pull out some Slayer and Amorth when I’m in the mood, but its like nose tork, not a multivitamin.
I switched to a gym that plays a lot of “hardcore” metal, and sometimes it just gets old. Maybe it’s my hippie parents talking, but I’d rather pack my muscles full of good vibes than anger and angst.

100% with you there Yogi.
It’s a mystery, I don’t get it, I never will get it, I don’t have to get it, but I will raise a stink if I have to listen to that crap.
OP looks pretty pissed off already, don’t know if he needs more.
But I normally listen to NPR and prefer to listen to nothing… but my gym plays “pinball wizard” on repeat everyday.
Mr walkway my life is terrible. Damn it and I like METAL
