Leites got a bullshit decision over Marquardt but the way Anderson fought him made him look like shit. It kills his career. Do you think even if he starts winning again he gets another title shot in the UFC?

Leites ain’t in the UFC anymore. And I think Thales dropped Nate (overrated)in that fight and then Nate got points taken away.[/quote]
Dana White fucked up the contract with Leites. He even said he didnt wanna let him go but made a mistake with not having a contract for him. I wouldnt be shocked to see him back in the UFC someday. And most I remember from his Marquardt fight was him coughing up blood and Nate piledriving him for the point loss.
As for not knowing who Carnage is thats not really that bad. Unless you follow Muay Thai or Kickboxing you wouldnt have a clue who he is. I dont believe he has ever done an MMA fight. He is an amazing fighter but the Muay Thai scene just isnt highly covered in the USA.

Yes…don’t you hate when you get dream match-ups that end up with bullshit drama?
Hmm. Fans have way to much entitlement sometimes. If you say I didn’t enjoy that fight and wish he would put on a better show I will not pay to watch him again fine. But to call him a jerk say he OWES you respect or a show or something is bs.
We do not know what is going on in his head. He is a human being you fans do not own him he doesn’t have to put on a show or owe you anything he just simply may get less people paying to watch him and make less if he doesn’t.
Peopl get so mad espceially when fighters do things to protect themselves and not get hurt. Theyd rather the fighter got injured for there entertainment then was boring and didn’t get hurt. Why would the fighter then listen to you? There are human beings not slaves , this was 25 minutes of boring the guy does charity work in brazil I beleieve he is a good person.
That being said the fight did suck and was boring I agree, just don’t go overboard realize he is a person.

I dont know what the hell that ref was doing but he screwed up a good fight. I thought he restarted the fight to as he stepped between them and then moved out but whatever. They should do it again but allow elbows this time. I think Spong is trying to gain size and move into the K-1 Grand Prix but I would like to see him fight Carnage again.

I think Spong messed up by trying to get it on with the big boys. Jerome LeBanner…who is still game for a fight, but is no world-beater anymore handled him just recently…and I think the weight gain is affecting his speed, timing, etc.

Ya its a big change for him. He enters that Grand Prix and he has to fight monsters like Overeem and Schilt. Add into that guys like Bonjansky and Hari its a rough division. Even he draws the less experienced of the crowd he still is fighting uphill. Although I think he could beat Jai Deep. That guy just flat out doesnt belong.

I agree. I know we’re derailing the thread a bit…but what’s your thoughts on Kyotaro??

Well he ripped up Aerts but Aerts is just about done. I just dont see it anymore for him. Besides that Kyotaro is a good counter puncher. That straight right always seems to find its way into his wins. The one where he caught Manhoef was just perfectly timed. I dont like that he is a defensive guy as I like the aggresive fighters but his skill level is very high. I almost wanna see him fight in the Grand Prix just to see how he does against the Likes of Bonjasky or how his defensive style works against great leg kickers like Ghita.
Crocop was also a counter-puncher and very successful on k-1 i have high expectations for Kyotaro
I am not saying he cant be succesful at all. I just am not a huge defensive fighter fan. To be honest I dont see him beating the top of the grand prix guys but he could give an early upset to a few. But guys like Schilt and Hari I think will beat him easily. He wont be able to outpoint or catch a guy the size of Schilt.
