And Justice Is Served?

They broke the law on Jan. 6 and I don’t think many rational people believe they shouldn’t face the consequences of that. But the lengths that the government is going to in the name of justice comes off more like a vendetta. And if that Oath Keepers guy really deserved 18 years then what about BLM leadership who openly express a desire to destroy this nation and encouraged civil unrest that turned into burning and looting?

One has to wonder why the government sees a one eyed old man, who I had never heard of until recently, as a threat to democracy but ignores a group that embraces marxism and works towards the total upheaval of the United States. All the wokeism groups are the real threat to democracy and freedom.

Because only one represented any threat whatsoever to the United States. BLM is a Progressive government lap dog organization. And the United States wants that.

There is only one george floyd

Because I’m 99% sure they’re useless neo nazi white nationalists.

Ashli Babble or whatever it’s name was, was not enough.

I hope you appreciate how lucky you are to live in a country with such a tolerant majority group.

I’d be lucky to live in a country with dead ones. Thankfully they are a dying breed since everything is woke nowadays. They will rot away eventually.

So articulate!

So total death count is the best way to evaluate the political importance of an event?

Only one person died when JFK was assassinated, so that was no big deal for America then?

If you want to damage this country almost irreparably, you could start by decapitating the federal government. If there was no danger to members of Congress or the vice president, why were members of both parties running away? Why didn’t Marjorie Taylor Greene go out to personally welcome the people who pushed their way into the capitol?

Let’s also talk about the security implications for the future. You know who has watched and studied the videotape of that day, and studied the maps of federal buildings, trying to learn as much as possible from that day? Every terrorist organization in the world. We are also lucky that while that invasion was taking place at the capitol, other terrorist groups didn’t take advantage of the government being totally out of commission during that entire day.

As an “own goal” the attack on January 6th is almost unparalleled in modern history. Just as a thought experiment, let’s pretend that nobody died during the attack on Pearl Harbor, lets pretend it was just a bunch of property damage. What kind of black mark would it be on America if the attack was not perpetrated by the Japanese military, but instead it was a rogue group of air force pilots who disagreed with FDR’s economic policies? This is not a perfect comparison but what kind of impact would that have had on this country?

Still loving the lower case.
But there are many george floyds, because you don’t capitalize species.

If you get trampled by a crowd, that counts as natural causes?

There was no official police investigation of the Ashli Babbitt shooting, is that actually your claim?

Republicans held the majority in the House of Representatives during that time, so if you think Congress needed to do their own separate investigation, you know who to blame.

Yeah man, you can’t even trash the center of the federal government and at the same time injure hundreds of cops without a bunch of crybabies making a big fuss about it!

Good post :roll eyes:

Nobody can force you to pay attention to the facts that have been revealed in the trials.

No. But how many different investigations were carried out for that shitbag Michael Brown? Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself against a convicted sex offender and was charged with a crime and had to defend himself in court. Meanwhile the left sees the sex offender as the victim and thus, a martyr.

Explain the roll eyes? 73 Capitol Police and 65 Metropolitan Police were injured, according to their own reports.

Ah you’re right, I got it backwards. Democrats had the House, but Republicans had the Senate. And Trump controlled the Dept. of Justice. Attorney General Bill Barr (I forget who was Attorney General at that point, but it was a Trump appointee) could have opened an independent investigation of the Ashli Babbitt shooting. Maybe it was decided more investigations weren’t warranted.
